sounds pretty inconsistent, maybe in the tuning.
13 would be kinda lean, they should be shooting for 11.5s on the dyno and you would get near 12 on the street.

anything below like 3K I know cant be right because to dyno a A4 you have to wait till the conveter locks like at 70mph or so, you know when your on the high way and you punch it but its in third gear and dosnt down shift. My old dyno is in the car but I know it was after 3K for sure maybe actully more like 4K. Ill try to go find out later on.

thats right you have to hit it from the speed whre the converter is locked and it wont down shift. In a Z28 I did thi at about 70 mph.

ok went to my car just for you

my dyno was done at MTI same place tiagos car was dynoed and lot of the sick-sixx cars have dynoed.

it didnt start till after 3600rpms more like 3700rpms ( looking at the print out of just numbers tq went form 145 at 3600 to 200 at 3700 so the dyno didnt start till 3700 rpms)

and the mph was right around 75 more like 76mph

anything unther 3500 or 75mph i would say is bogus period

for refrence max hp was at 4800 rpms max tq was right at the begining of the dyno this is on a n/a car tho, im sure your max hp should be atleast 500rpms above mine so 5300rpms maybe

im sure your 16:1 a/f ratio was because your car was not wot yet and if your not wot the computer trys to maintain 14.7:1 but im sure you were seeing a little boost at 3K and thats when its started dumping more fuel in, by the time you were at 3600rpms which is the earlest you could start a wot dyno pull your a/f was fine, not rich but nothing thats not safe. I would run it richer tho, specilly on the street your a/f will lean out on the steet because of more air flow.

aim for that 11.5:1 on the dyno and you should be great on the street, more fuel and more air = more power

Sounds like you need some new plugs. My car was doing this very same thing. Around 3-3.5k it felt like it was loosing a lot of power. I changed the plugs and the car felt twice as strong as before. I guess I just got a bad set because my old ones where less than 6k old.

RADCAT....i was wrong in saying that its "not smooth", the car studders and almosts holds back. Plugs are fine. The wires were not changed, is it possible that new wires will fix this?

Also, why wasn't the speed limiter raised when my computer was tunned initially. MACH had to know that the speed limiter of 118 MPH would be hit when you add a 10 PSI procharger kit

The4 reason your hitting the speed limiter so early is because of your gears........

I bet you can barely get past 90 mph on the street with those gears. Got a SCU2000 or zzp pcm yet?

If not then thats why your hitting so early.

If your car came stock with 3.42's and you never changed the gears, The speed limiter kicking in at 118 would be more than enough for you to reach 5500 rpm's.

But since you changed your gears, your pcm thinks it's doing 118 mph at 5500 rpm's when your really doing 91 mph at 4200 rpms.

That has nonthing to do with your boost. Your rpms and speed limiter would be exactly the same even without the blower on there.

If you look at radcats car he still dynoed VERY HIGH even though he only hit 4400 rpm's compared to your 4200 and my 4800.

Thats because his boost has very little to do with rpm's while ours has everything to do with it.

If you can pull roughly 200 rwhp at only 4200 rpm's, then I still feel confident that when you get your pcm/speed limiter worked out you will pull 300 rwhp on your next dyno.

Just got off the horn with MACH. The graph is being sent to him (hopefully he can read it), and Bill is going to come up with a solution to the ignition problem. Hopefully its just the wires.

Bill's computer guy is on vacation for 2 weeks, so we will have to wait till then for the next dyno numbers.

Green: I went from 3.08 to 3.73 without any change in the computer.

Mine would sputter or feel like it was detonating when it hit those rpms. Changing the plugs fixed my prob. You might want to change the wires and make sure they installed the msd right too.

Yea once you get that takin care of I think you'll be on the quest for 300rwhp.

We have the SAME problem, but I went from 3.08 to 3.42 and can get to 4800 rpm's and 96 mph with a 217 rwhp.

You went from 3.08 to 3.73 and can only go to 4200 rpms and probaly 90 mph tops. That's why both our dynos are so low.

But your numbers are ALOT better than mine.

If I only made it to 4200 rpms and 90 mph I would dyno like 175rwhp at the most with my old set up.

DYNOS ARE FUN!!!!! YOU'll do better each time you go....Im surprised you did as good as you did considering how low your rpm's are.

I STILL PREDICT 307 RWHP AND 337 RWT FROM YOUR SETUP ONCE YOU GET RID OF THE SPEED LIMITER.
