could you not be hiting the speed limiter(the computer starts to pull fuel) on the dyno when you do

IE on a normal car it would pull fuel at 118mph
your car it would start at that 90mph(actull speed) or so because your compter thinks you are going 118 because your tires are turning faster then what the computer is programed for because of your gear swap

IE hawgs went from 3.08's(or 3.23's i cant remeber) to 3.42s, before he got his computer reprogramed we were side by side on the freeway I called him on his cell and asked what his speed was he said 70mph when my correct speedometer was 60mph

    your diffrence is even worse

i bet the computer is pulling fuel and thats your shudder because you are toping the car out(speed wise) with the stock computer

does it shudder in 1st or 2nd gear

also im sure your car is shifting at like 5K rpms instead of the 6K which you can pull too

Thats exactly it....My car thinks its at 118, when its really in the upper 90's

I am roughly 15-17 MPH off on the speedo, and obviously the difference gets larger as your speed goes up. So at 118, the difference is probably above 20 MPH.

The only problem with the thoery that it is pulling the fuel because of the limiter, is that this shuddering can happen in 2nd (not to often) if I punch it hard enough....It happens in third when I punch it, and in fourth it happens in the upper RPM's. It will NOT happen in 1st gear.

I am hoping new wires will fix this problem in 2nd and 3rd.

Keep in mind, fuel pressure has been perfect this entire time, and continues to look good even when the car shudders up top.

Hopefully a combination of new wires, raised speed limiter, and programming for the 3.73 will fix everything.

hey good luck with getting the bugs worked out..

hopefully you can get the speed limiter removed.. full dyno pulls are crutial for supercharged cars.. since its rpm related.

        hope everything turns out well.

sorry to hear about your mom.. run the guy over with your car

I might be repeating what someone already said (thread is too long now) but Green is right. 3.08 to 3.73 is a big jump in gears and you would hit your limiter alot sooner than those who went from 3.43 to 3.73. When Mach was doing your computer, did they know about your gear swap?

I don't know if gear is the culprit. There may be other bugs that's plaguing you. This seems to be typical or any FI.

Good Luck and hopefully everything works out. You got an awesome setup. Love your pictures man.
