I had a new flywheel and a spec clutch put in last week and also a new tranny mount which was shot to hell. I put the 2.6" pulley back on to see if it would reduce the slipping. It did a bit but it was still slipping some. It put out 288 hp and 330 tq at around 7-8psi. The boost will go up to 10-11 psi then start to fall off to 7-8 psi. My timing and air/fuel was pretty good, so I think I would have to add some nitros to get anymore power. I think a 50 wet shot would do it, will see. I'm working on going out to the track one of these days, maybe when it cools down some.

I think those may be the best powerdyne numbers yet. Keep it up.\'99 SSM Camaro V6 M5
(mod list on cardomain site; too long to list here)
http://www.cardomain.com/id/v6cam99

you got some hella torque goin there steve. how often do you go thrue clutches?
hey...a question... what PCV bypass mod did you do? is it the TB plug and breather cap mod or the drilled TB mod?
those hp/torque numbers are similar to the smaller pulley you had made, aren't they?

oh yea...as for your track run... I am gonnas guess between 12.8 and 13.3.

I've had the stock clutch in there since I put the supercharger on. When we took it out it didn't look too bad for having 30,000 miles on it with the supercharger. The clutch was wore pretty good and the flywheel which has 130,000 miles on it only had a couple of hot spots. So thats why I replaced the flywheel when I put the Spec clutch in. I have the plug in the TB with a breather. I put the 2.6" pulley on because when I dynoed with the 2.25" pulley I only put out like 244 hp and 275 tq. I don't know if it was the clutch going out or if the smaller pulley wouldn't grap on the dyno. I'm going to wait until it cools down some and go back with the 2.25" pulley on. I can tell a difference with both pulleys and I know that the 2.25" is alot quicker than the 2.6" pulley. I also added more timing this last dyno run, I think I added about 5 degrees in the higher cells. So that could also be a factor.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Wow Steve, good job. Nice torque there.
Yeah, you just need to be intercooled to get those numbers even higher. I think a wet kit would do you nicely.
Didn't James had 276 hp and 320 tq when he got in the 12's?
I can see you doing 12 easily and with some weight reduction would make it even better.
Good job.

it figures that the 2.25 pulley is 'quicker'. too bad it was slipping on you during the top end. maybe the sweet spot for the powerdyne is the JohnD + 2.6
so what is 288 rwhp converted to crank hp? about 330? (appx.)
ever get the front wheels off the ground? I bet your passengers leave brown spots the first time they ride in that car. :D

Thats true, I could do a dry shot. I'm looking at the coolingmist system right now, might try some methanol injection to cool it down. It is starting to get a little cooler here now so I might wait on that for now. I had a problem with a rattle. Turned out to be my heat sheid on the cat again, so I ripped it off. All good again. Might up my timing some more and head to the track one of these Friday nights. I'll post some times when I do so.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
