PD doesn't have a whine, just a whistle.
There's an almost brand new one in the For Sale Forum.
But if your heart is set on ATI, I would definately seek out Jen 'Pathogen'. She has the bracket design of Virus that you can download and have a shop fabricate.
I have the mach ATI kit on mine and love it...It was 4481.00 shipped. Alot of people think that it is a lot but when you consider you get a 3 core intercooler and a BOV compared to a new powerdyne at 6psi that is 3500.00? Plus with the larger injectors you can run 10psi instead of 8psi. AT 8 psi it does about 280 wheel hp. IF you have any more questions about it please ask.
it would be real cool if somebody put up a personal website detailing their instal and running of the mach ati kit....nudg, nudge.... ;)
for instance, i think i just learned from your post (deryboy) that the mach kit comes with 8 psi pulley. (i did not know this) I did know that they come with more stuff...injectors, intercooler, bov, etc. And it spins on the front side of the belt, right? (ribbed side)

haha I get the hint....yeah im going to try its just I dont have the ability to do so at my college. Well it doesn't come with the injectors....if you want to run 10psi you have to buy the 36 lb/hr injectors. It comes with a procharger fully adustable FMU. Yes it does spin off the ribbed side. I hope this helps
Well im at 10psi and love the kit. I couldn't give you good info on the install because mine is an 02 and you have to do a lot of different things for an 02 compared to the other years. It comes with a CD and it doesn't seem like it would be too hard if you have all the right tools and some help. It just seems like tuning it would be the hardest part.
Derkyboy..I assume you had to shorten the fuel rail and that you used bosch style injectors and that you also had to change the wire connectors for the injectors, right?
Also...regarding 2002 year...are you refering to such things as the mythological 'low pressure fuel system'...you know...the thing that RKSport refers to and even has there kits as not being compatible with 2002 cars...or even 2001.5 cars?

Yes....I had to use narrow body injectors and had to have a custom wiring harness. The low fuel pressure is true. Well supposedly the powerdyne will work on an 02....you just need to change the FPR to one of an 00.
