Alright today I went out shopping for some stuff to bypass the pcv valve and here is what I got....

    1. Irwin Hanson ..3/8x16nc tap(16 threads per inch)
    2. Permatex blue thread locker
    3. blue rtv Silicon gasket maker (I didnt know which one to get so I got both just in case...the blue rtv or thread locker)
    4. Am pro 4" 2-jaw heavy duty gear puller(this is what I should be using to tight the pully just making sure if that is right or not)

I was looking threaded plug in but couldnt find any at advance auto parts or lows and I was wondering do I have to fab that up......let me know of what I am missing as well so I can go out get the parts too I am gettin the valve cover breather from zzp performance as well...

Also for the 3rd bracket what kind of metal should I get that from...I saw some straight metal pieces at lows and thought it would look good but let me know about that as well.

p.s. When I told advance guy about bypassing the pcv valve he told me that it would redline my car...I say **** him dont listen to him what you guys thing?

you need a 3/8" threaded plug (16 threads per inch because that is the tap that you bought)
You should be able to find a threaded plug an just about any hardware store that sells a wide range of bolts and stuff. you will find them in the little boxes. they have a flush 'allen wrench' head. print the picture from my website and take it with you.

the thread lock might work on with the plug but it is very THIN stuff. I used RTV blue silicone becuase it is thicker...butnot as heat resistant. you will see what I mean...the actuall hole is already 3/8" so the threads you tap into it will be very light. the silicone or thread lock is to copensate for that and to promote a good seal.

make sure everything is clean before you put the TB back on. also be very careful handling the TB because the MAF screen will bend if you look at it wrong.

you will need a TB gasket as well and some carb cleaner and a razor blade to clean the mating surfaces between TB and manifold.

you don't need to make a '3rd bracket' unless your kit is missing one. you can wait on that unless you know for a fact that you are not getting one with your kit.

as for the guy at advance auto...this just reafirms by oppinion about 'professionals.' granted he is just a counter jockey....but what you are doing to your car (converting to forced induction) is not a standard thing. it is very advanced and also very custom. Download the RKSport pdf file instructions...take a look at what 'professionals' give you as far as instructions.
