...translates to Whoa!!
The car runs very strong. Sorry, I don't know how much boost I'm running. The boost gauge is off and being replace by Autometer and also installing Fuel Pressure gauge.
The first thing I did was file down the oil bracket just so there is enough clearance. I bought a 3.5 idler pulley off of ebay and file down the sleeves so that it doesn't rub against the SC pulley. I also bought off of ebay a 3.1 pulley from a Saturn owner that has an intercooled PD. I took it to the shop to have it grooved and filed down to 2.95.
Once everything is in place and set, it took me less than an hour to remove everything and install the new stuff.
Doing the JohnD wrap, the 3.5 idler pulley and the SC pulley were very close to each other. I did this so that the belt would wrap around the SC pulley even more. By the looks of it, I'm guessing that the wrap is 70-75% around the pulley, no way will this babe slip. Compare to only 45-50% with the original Vector set up.
Took the car out and it felt strong at low speed with the feeling of boost being present, definately no lag and the blower got sharper in its whine and noise. Rump it and my neck snap with a grin going ear to ear.
I took some pictures and I will post it on Cardomain which I hope to release by a week or two. For those who is getting a Powerdyne. Definately do the JohnD wrap and the Laron groove. The 3.5 idler pulley was my touch. But I don't know where you could one. Napa maybe.
