1.) Cosmetic issues aside, does it make any difference what sort of piping is used for the piping on the intake side? Can it be the same as the turbine/downpipe side?
2.) Where is the IAT sensor typically located in a turbo setup? It it just before the throttle body as usual?
3.) In all the setup pictures i see, it looks as though the turbo is supported solely by the piping, is this correct? It would seem to be it would need to be bracketed in some way.
4.) Can all external wastegates be vented into the air, or must some be passed into the downpipe?
5.) How do you go about tuning the pressure at which a blow off valve opens? Is a blow off valve needed on an A4, i thought i read that it wasn't.
