Ftforce/RKsport powerdyne super charger and computer quesiton?
Ftforce/RKsport powerdyne super charger and computer quesiton?
After installing the Ftforce/RKsport powerdyne super charger kit, can you still use a hypertech power programmer III to adjust anything? Or does the settings have to be bone stock?
I know there are 93 octane settings, lower temps, etc? Please advise.
You can use the hypertech to adjust your gear/tire sizes or fan settings. DO NOT use the power programing, you don't want to advance your timing tables at all, instead you need to retard the timing a little with the Crane unit.
I'd think that the 87 octane gas programming would be alright w/ a powerdyne set at 6 psi, and then u just put in premium gas to make up for any knock.

use 93 octane with a s/c, it doesn't burn as quick as 87 octane. the knock you hear is detonation, ie the fuel combusting before the piston hits the top end of its stroke. very very bad idea michael -office space - the hpp3 advances the timing so that the fuel combusts at the precise moment the piston is at the top of the stroke in order to gain the most downward force aka more power
