whats a good size turbo to use with our engines?
i could probably get my hands on a t3 pretty easily and cheap. but i dont know how well these will work with our cars.
95 black 3.8 camaro, Intake, Pacesetters, Flowmaster 80 series, accel plugs and wires, B&M shift kit (eh could be better), hopefully a highflow cat soon. and a bunch of appearance mods.
a t3 will be too small. you need to be shopping for a t3/t4 or a t4. look at the turbo specs post up at the top of this section. theres more to it than just shopping for a t3/t4 also. you need to be very concerned about those AR ratios. if youre shopping on ebay be careful, a lot of those "new turbo's" are junk. i wouldnt buy it if it didnt have a notable brand stamped on the housing. any fyi... dont get an XS power turbo or anything from ssautochrome
im looking for a t3/t4 with a .6 ar compressor and a .7-.8 ar exhaust or a t4 with a .6 .7 .
ok, how about garrett turbos? Ive seen a few kits that came with them.
how much do you want for the manifolds? im still thinking about it because im not 100% sure on what im doing yet with a turbo project.

Garrett is what i recomend, they are extremely reliable turbos. The only way you could use a t3 is if you used two of them in a twin turbo setup.
