I know this has already been asked but has anyone heard of a turbo kit coming out soon from Cartuning Performance? And also what would it take to build a bullet-proof bottom end to handle more boost? Some of this is a little new to me, I've only played with carburated V-8's, just want to try some thing new. Thanks!

3800 Performance is the ones who are going to be selling the kit. They deal strictly with 3800's, but mainly for Grand Prix's but are slowly starting to sell patrs for the Camaro and Firebirds. I'm just trying to do some research before I star spending the money for a kit.

They have a race prepped block over at inense-racing. if you really want to go for full out. would be a nice project if u got the money. Other than that, forged pistons, rods, hardened pushrods, blablahblablabla...
the cartuning kit isnt intercooled.. even though i woudl love to see how they will do the turbo for the camaro/firebird rwd 3800's96 Camaro M5. Oh well, I work on million dollar fighter jets for a living and just trying to find out what I can to make a strong V-6...every one says I that I'm frigin' crazy for wanting to build a v-6, but not a lot of people around here have really built a strong 3800 other than adding juice to it...I'm looking to build a strong V-8 killer...

To respond to the original topic of this thread. I can promise you that kit isn't for a rwd 3.8L. Just because something kits on a 3.8L engine doesn't mean its our 3.8L L36 ;)00\' firebird v6 5spd<br />201rwhp ---- 230 rwtq<br />\"Everyday I grow stronger...and further from you.\"<br />WARNING: Do not take any of my comments seriously unless they are technical in nature and then only at your own risk
