Walbro pump

Hey guys, just thought I would check around and ask before I returned my walbro: when you guys got your pumps installed, did you have to change to bigger fuses? The 15A fuse in my PCM BAT keeps blowing every 5 mins, (and gets worse as my car heats up to operating temp), and I know the install is done correctly on the pump, as I made the shop take the pump back out after I started having the problem, and double check everything, not to mention testing it with a battery seperately on a test bench. Anyone else have these probelms? I think I'm going to send it back as a faulty pump, but any help would be appreciated!


p.s. I posted my dyno and track #'s in the drag racing section if anyone is curious.

nope.. you shuld not need a new fuse.. however i would give the wires arounf the tank a nice once over.. could be a short somewhere..

I had no problem with mine, could be a faulty pump or like said before, it could be a short. Thats what it sounds like to me. what was your fuel pressure with the new pump?

I didn't have any trouble with mine either. FP before the walbro was ~46 at idle and now it's around 49-50.
