  • will this 97 fit my 98

I have a 1998 V6 Camaro somone want to sell me a surpercharge for a 1997 V6 Camaeo. I want to know how hard it is to make the 1997 supercharger work on my 1998 V6 Camaro. Is it possible! It is a powerdyne supercharger for a 95-97 Camaro. Thank you for any help.

it can be made to work, but there are mods to the throttle body etc that need to be made because of the angle/non angle throttle bodies..How much is he trying to sell it for?

The '97 and '98 are both angled tb's. The '98 has tubing from the center mounted airbox to the throttle body, where the '97 did not. So the starting point from the air filter would be the main difference.

Thanks for the information that you have provided. But I still have one more questions? Is it possible to use some type of piping from the supercharger to the throttle body to make it fit just right. I would really apprecaite the help.

Buy some flexable 3.5 inch blower tubing from powerdyne and run it from your whisper lid over to the blower like this. The pipe from the blower to the TB will fit your 98 car ok.

Yes, you can keep your Whisper lid. You will have to modify the exit a bit with some 3" plastic PVC pipe and some silcone so the flexable intake tube from Powerdyne will clamp onto it.

You run the flexable tube to the inlet side of the blower. You will receive a chrome pipe to run from the outlet side of the blower to your throttle body, that will fit perfectly.

Ironman for the 3.5 inch piping they charge by the foot. Howmany feet do you think I will need based on your setup.
