roots blower on new 3.8 monte carlo ss

I dont know if anyone seen either the car show in detroit or chicago but chevy is putting roots blowers on the new monte carlo ss. It is front wheel drive, but i think it wouldnt have too much problem of clearence under hood. The only drawback is the money spent verses the power gain, 240 bhp with the blower installed. Have any of you guys thought about this before, if so and its an earlier post sorry i didnt look back on earlier ones.

It won't work with a rear wheel drive because the pulley is on one side and on the opposite end is the intake. So the intake would be facing the firewall.

Also, there are some serious clearance issues.

Good enough for 12's, even 11's. Root don't suck, they blow. I would prefer a centrifugal though.

Go say they suck to a guy who owns a 2003 Mustang Cobra I believe it is or Saleen or whatever one has the roots blower. That mutha would tear you and evreyone else here a new one!!
