What all would need to be done to a motor for a turbo kit?Rods,pistons,cam,etc.?Thanks for the help

What about a 3.4? From cruising the board I have seen that the 3.4 is not as strong as the 3.8. Any guess? Tiago's kit is for 7 pounds right? So I guess that is what he is running and I beleive he has a stock bottom end.Originally posted by T-Punk:

not sure about the 3.4 not being as strong

The 3.4 has a cast nodular iron crank with 3.31'' stroke, 67mm mains and 1.999'' rod jornals. It also has heat treated forged steel rods and cast pistons.
The crank shaft has 3 commen rod jornals and are evenly spaced 120* apart. It is simple and strong.
Also has 2 bolt mains.
What do the 3.8's have?
I think they have split rod jornal cranks.
