Scan of a couple of runs with HPT, any comments or suggestions?

I am also wondering now if that jet stage 1 chip I have changes the injector pulse width.

Maybe when I get my next scan I should do some runs with the chip in and some with it out.

People say you should not use those chips with the powerdyne becasue it advances the timing a little. But, I always run 93 octane and I have never heard any knock from having it in and from the scan I am not showing much knock retard. I have tried driving with it in and out and it always did seem that I had more low end torque but I have never tried running it at WOT with it out.

I'd like know why your injectors are maxing out as well as i'm about to get to this issue once my o2 is fixed on thursday... unless that was what was causing mine to max out.

I had over 29ms at 3500 rpm.

Does anyone have any idea what would cause my fuel trims to be all over the place?

I maxed out my injectors along time ago running the fmu, I was seeing 29ms+, right now running 36lb injectors I hit about 19ms. I know my fuel trims were all messed up to with the powerdyne. I just rescaled my injector flow rate until the LT trims were in the - numbers. For me I had to adjust the maf down low a little to get them where I wanted. I know if I run more boost I might have to go with some 42lb injectors. Will see when I get my supercharger back from 928.

Just so we're clear, maxing out your injectors under boost could lead to ultra lean conditions and possibly blowing stuff up right?

If i'm still seeing the 29ms after fixing my 02's it means i have to look at bigger injectors?

I don't think it would lead to lean conditions , but your injectors could lock up or fail and then you would go lean and blow something. I was lucky, I ran mine for about a year and nothing happened. But running the fmu was causing me to run rich on the dyno. My air/fuel was dipping down into the 9's and 10's. I tried tuning it but I couldn't get a good air/fuel with the fmu. Now with the 36lbs , I get a nice 11.3 to 11.5 on the dyno. It also helps to have a wideband of your own when tuning it. Also less trips to the dyno.

What fuel ratio were you running?
Also, do you know about what RPM's you were starting to go rich?

I think it fell off at 3200 rpms and came back up at 5200 rpms. Between there it was below 10 on air/fuel meter. After it came back up at 5200 rpms it went up in the 12's at 6000 rpm or around there.

Do you remember what rate of gain you were running on the FMU?

It is the one that came with the kit, 6:1 ratio, It always looked like I was running 100psi+ on my fuel pressure gauge, thats another good reason I switched to the 36lb injectors.
