i have no idea how you didnt get a code by hollowing your cat, when i hollowed mine the code came on about an hour after driving it... you do know that when you trip a code all that happens is the service engine soon light comes on right? anyway just get rid of the sensors altogether or leave them in the headers, no big deal either way.

The third o2 is not an issue, I have had a sim in its place for a long time.
Thanks for the opinions, but they are going in the down pipe along with the wideband.

Hey viper, you said you were going to add a wideband with an output to the PCM? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the stock PCM can't handle a ~5v signal that widebands put out. It's a lot different than what the computer expects from a narrow band since a wide band can tell you exactly what the a/f ratio is and a narrow band really only knows stoich, lean, and rich, and not really anything inbetween.
Also, what wideband setup are you going with? Can anyone here name a factory turbo setup with the o2 sensors before the turbocharger?
I would rather have the sensors 4" further down stream, and not have them exposed to the extreem heat of TWICE what they were designed for. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong no big deal, I'll find out soon enough.

Here's an idea phoenix: you could install an extra set of bungs further down and also have ones in the stock location. That way you can install the O2 sensors in one set of bungs and then plug the other set. You'd probably like that better cuz then you could experiment around with the different locations and it wouldn't cost much more and you could go ahead and get the headers coated. They probably would work fine in the stock location but I always like a bit of flexibility too.
Viper, I saw that the thing has a wideband output but I'm still pretty sure a stock ECU won't know what to do with a wide band signal.
