• hi~ it's intercooled p/d supercharger..

i set up my car

8.5:1 forged iternals
intercooler
6psi supercharger
maft
ls1 injector(maybe 28lbs)
3"full exhast
cia headers
matt ECU tuning(set 9pis)
grooved john-D rap
etc...

hehet~

finally.. my car works greatly..

i could bit lt-1 hehet~

hmm.. before i got intercooler

i could see 9psi.. boost..but.. after i got

intercooler i could see 5-6psi..

but.. car was faster than before

intercooler should go definitly with p/d

i think..

it will be more safe and stronger..

hmm. not yet~ i didnt dyno my car..

i spent to much money hehet~ so.

i already 3time blow out my engine..hehet~ ^^

that makes me.. poor guy~

but finally..i made car

its 6psi intercooled supercharged bird..

hmm. now i am anxious how big horspower..i can

make...

and i have a question...

if i make smaller pully... will it be made

more boost ? how much? i can make?with intercooler

if it is.. how big boost i can make.more..

can i make 10psi boost with intercooler??

and i think.. if i did john-D rap~

the slippage still exist.. i think..

when rpm goes up fastly and gearchange quickly

the slippage will be exist i think..

because the charger pully..cant go with belt speed

that's why~ quick change's belt speed will make

pully slip...very short time.. so when i drove

thoughly.. i could smell of burning belt~

so i will erease this point..

i have a good idea..

but i cant explain with my english skill hehet ^^

later.. if i success.. i will tell you..

just see my car~

its 97 firebird convertable..

i was owner for 7years..hehet~

and i think i need nice wheels..

^^
enjoy~

A smaller pulley will make more boost. If it does not slip...

I had a 2.75" pulley and made 10 psi most of the time, sometimes 12 psi at the top of second gear.

A grooved pulley, the John_D. power wrap, and a tight belt will make a lot of boost. :D

i was wondering if you got it all done

with the lower c/r pistons you should have no trouble running 10 PSI of IC boost..

i have a new web site too chekt it out. http://viper03af.50megs.com

EDIT: wait a sec your female? err WOW that cool, I guess we should go ofver there to find weman that know about cars and like them too !!!! how far are you from the Air force bases.

yup~ she is my girlfriend.. hehet~

but..i think.. in usa.. there is plenty nice

women too ^^

and here is so far from there..

that's why we tune our car so hardly..hehet~

now. i dont have anytrouble.but..

when my mechanic rebuilt my engline..

he borken 3 NGK plugs.. so he used 3 stock plugs

instead of 3ngk plugs..

so my car is equiped 3 tr6ngk plugs with 3 stock

plugs..hehet~ but it all 0.035"

this week im going to get TR6ngk plugs

hmm. i thinks.. my car's hp is 250-280hp~

is it realistic number?

edit: air force bases?

huk~ i dont know.. hmm near from here gunsan city

yup~ hptuner was good help to me..

i could eliminate topspeed limit and rpm limit

and shift fimness and gearchane was better than

before.. and..that is korean car's intercooler.

we changed it.. and made piping...

so that doesnt have link....

That's crazy that you lost 3 pounds of boost through the intercooler! With my set up I notice just a little over half a pound of boost lost with the intercooler. Do you have any pics of how you mounted it? Good to hear you're getting good results with it though, getting the same amount of power out of your car with 3 pounds less of strain on the engine is awesome. And I think that 250 flywheel horse is very realistic. Probably a little conservative actually. Good job on your setup.

cant you see the picture i posted?

i sent it nino~

and mighty thor~ you helped me alot.. before..

thanks.. and i did john D-wrep~ its better

mod~ but even john-D wrep~ i think..there still

exist pully's slipage...

it doesnt mean lost boost~ just when gear change

at wot~ the slipage is shortly happen..so

after i drove toughly..i could smell of burnig

belt~ so i think burning belt makes change belt time.. shortly..

i have a idea about fix that point...

i will put~ oneway bearing to charger pully..

can you have some idea?

^^; hehet~ hmm.. do you guys... after you drive

your car fastly.. cant you smell of burning belt at the engine room?

or cant you see the black powder of belt?

i think it means charger pully's belt slip~

so i think.. if i do follow my idea..

the engine will work very smoothly.. and..

belt change timing will be longer then before

and no~ black powder of belt

how do you think about that idea?

and i lost 3pounds boost because of intercooler..

i think the pipe size is 75mm its pretty big size

and long.. so thats why i lost 3pounds boost..

is it right? so i will make smaller pully..

to make 9-10boost...

i have this car almost 7years.. after my car born.. untill now.. the owner was just only me..

its like my friend...

but for last 1year i had so many trouble setting

supercharger..

.and spent too much mony..and..

i was so tired failed setting..

but finally i got supercharger bird

which can beat trans am....hehet~

im so happy with my car..now..

i will have this car untill i go in the ground..

my goal is 350-400rw hp~ and 12second..car..

next mod.. will be cam with porting.. hehet~

if you recommend some good mod to my car~

i will veryvey apriciate~

i like firebirdv6.com and all you guys are my

teacher..

hehet~ ^^

p.s) i got slp 1.8rockerarm set~

how much help to horspower with my supercharger?

is it deliver big horspower to my engine?

how big?
