Ok, I am geting a hook up on pretty much any intercooler i could want..

soo.. now the question is which one.. and where..

I like tiagos setups.. i like the slim one along the lower air scoop.. how effective is that?

do you think i would be better of getting a taller Front monunt style IC and mountin it in the same location?? perhpas where the AC goes??

and ideas pictures layouts effectiveness or results would be awsome..

theres no way to fit a IC were the ac condeser is that i can tell, and just putting my RAD in it would be a PITA.

with tiagos you can put in under (for stealth) or in the middle for more direct air.

i think the one on the under side would be best because air has to go that way to get to the RAD anyway and the plastics are molded for air to flow that way. if you really wanted you could make a little air damn and direct even more air up there.

i dont think a bigger front one will help b/c only so much of the IC is going to get air any way unless you do lots of cuting, not only that there is like not that much room

    just my 5 bucks

yeah, I agree.. I think i am gunna go with a single core tiago like setup.. still not sure if i want the fins facing down or forward.. i could point hem forward and cut all the foam away and the inner section of the grill.. adn get good airflow that way.. i have a RKsports style grill that i can use to cover it up when i am not at the track..

      hrm.. decisions decisions..

i am curious about what tiago has to say..

Actually, there's plenty of room in there. My intercooler is 24x12x3, and it fits perfectly. and we even left some of the styrofoam in there to help the bumper keep its shape in direct sunlight. Even if you don't cut out the center section of the bumper, the IC gets plenty of airflow back there. Ducting will, of course, help the IC even more, but it's definitely not at all a requirement.

there's not going to be much of a difference between that setup and one like Tiago's kits, so either way will work just fine. the only real question is how much time do you want to take installing your IC?

yeah I dont have any plans to butcher my bumper or core support.. so i think i like the "tiago" method.. well.. its also a popular among the LS1 guys.. so.. i think i will go with that..

now its just a matter of fitment..

get a bar and plate intercooler if you can afford it.. as opposed to to a tube and fin unit. Also, teufel hunden's bumper is not butchered by any means, and I gaurantee it gets more airflow than an a FFF kit's location.

The long version of intercooler seems to be the most effective. You saw Woojong's (similar to Taigo) that was a good set up. I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

Just remove the bumper support crap and mount it up there. No butchering, but if you do hit someone, you will most likely loose the IC. It gets a lof of air in there and there is plenty of space, even for a very large IC.

A few pics from what we did on Tiagos TA:

So because I posted that his bumper isnt butchered, and that it gets more airflow than an FFF kit's does.... I'm being called a retarded ****ing idiot... I know so much more about forced induction than you junior it's not even funny. What I find funny about your post though.. is that only the most insecure people have to resort to insults in order to prove themselves. It shows they have no valid arguement. Your insults do nothing more than demonstrate the content of your character. I am anxiously awaiting your reply, presumed to be:
