i don't honestly see what the big deal is here, yes a auto is easier becaus all you have to worry about is the brak and the gas.

if you practice how to use your right foot for both the gas and brake its really not that hard but does take practice
2 Stage rev limiter &gt; your crappy idea. ;)

Even with your idea, you'd only be at part throttle, building only a little amount of boost. a two stage will allow you to be at full throttle building more boost. This method would, of course, require you to have a good setup for traction. Once you start getting to the track and want to start getting the good times, you'll agree with what i'm saying.
</font>[/QUOTE]good thing my MSD has one then ;) might have to try out this magic you speak of, but what if i forget to turn it off after i lanch? lol

That's the two stage part of it. it sets your limiter at your selected RPM only so long as the clutch isn't engaged. Once you let the clutch out and go, it automatically goes back to the stock setting.

The DIS-4 uses a momentary switch and a small ground wire. Press and hold the switch, and you can set the launch RPM, starting at 3000rpm. Release the switch and it revs freely. Hurst makes momentary switches into some of their shift knobs. Or you can just pick some up from radio shack like i did and do it from there.
