Alright who is going to lock this thread down.
I have the completed kit at my house right now. I have the kit, but no car at this moment. Bill will be posting pics of the kit on there website soon. Enough said.

To tell you the truth why was everyone thinking SCAM or FRAUD in the first place. I got my kit yesterday and to tell you the truth I am very satisfied. Nicely packaged and detailed instructions.

There business practice has been better than a lot of individuals selling practices around here.

All I am gonna say is relax the kit will be good. When the next set rolls around to buy this kit it will be a snap. They have all part codes, and numbers. Plus the feedback we give them should be able to give them HP increase numbers. These are what people are really going to be looking at anyways.

Bill and Ryan did a good job...get over it!

I agree, but communication could have been a lot better.

          No it's not...

The reason BATMAN was made a moderator here was because the admins wanted to support him and the kit despite the enormous flak he was taking. They stuck their necks on the line and stood up for him and Bill time and time again... basically by using censorship (locking, editing, and deleting threads) to squash criticism.

But those days are over now.

First off.... i have no money from this project. All the money that was sent was sent to Mach Peformance. Thats why reciepts were provided. Take me to the cleaners if you want... you'll only waste your time and money. I can't believe all this BS i am hearing on this thread. Its ridiculous.

So why does everyone still think that this is BS??? when the beta testers are now posting that they've recieved their kits?

You ingrates have no idea what i have been through the past year. NONE. If you only knew, you wouldn't be saying half the stuff your saying.

To be honest, i haven't even fully paid Mach Peformance for what this project costs. I still owe them 1000.00 but Bill is still to this day making sure that everything runs smoothly. He even redid my entire exhaust for free because i didn't have the money to pay him for it. Thats the kind of guy Bill is. All you see is a name, but i see someone who works hard every day and worked hard every day to help us finally get a SC kit for the 3.8 series ii RWD engines.

Stefan... why don't you take everyone's advice and sell that kit of yours for 300.00 less? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that its not as easy as everyone thinks it is... is it? You said it yourself...there isn't much profit in it.

Hell, at least you would think that if there was no profit, there would be some thanks... but i think everyone's proven there isn't any of that eaither.

As far as the design,... the design follows the same basic consept of any ATI kit. If your saying the design doesn't meet your satisfaction then your basically saying that of all of ATI's kits. Bill can't just create or conjure up his own formulas for making kits. He has strict guidelines set by ATI for the design... otherwise it doesn't get endorsed. The kit is making the power its supposed to and its pretty too....what more do you want?

The reason that Mach Peformance won't send out desgin blueprints and details is because no company in their right mind would do that. Thats like asking for KFC's recipe before you deside to eat their chicken.

There are so many stupid, ignorant comments made in this thread that i don't even know where to start.

"How come no one is calling me?"

So you're saying you have all this trouble just getting online, yet you still have access to a cell phone even though you're 2 months behind payment? Your excuses are starting to contradict themselves. Please stop.

And about Bill answering his phone...Oh well, DEAL WITH IT. That's part of a business. If he took the time and answered all of his Customers calls, then they wouldn't be AS worried about him screwing them over. You say everyone who calls him ends up taking up 30 minutes of his time..BS. If RedAutomobile was able to get through, his call would be 5 minutes tops..all he wanted was a tracking number.

And give FirebirdGT his $300 back.

Umm...as far as my cell bill... its the only one that i'm even remotely caught up with and still its one month behind. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY??? cause its the only avenue i have left for potential employers to contact me! I figure if i keep up with that at least that i can get a job and be back on my feet.

Do you have any clue what your talking about or are you just jumping in the middle of the conversation and trying to sound like you know everything.
Are you at Bill's shop everyday to see how many times he answers his phone? Have you even seen the packages that are being delivered or the quality of his work? Are you living with any of the testers that say they aren't getting their calls back? Have you counted how many times they call the shop? Did you interview them to find out if they tried calling me or e-mailing me even after i have posted my e-mail and cell a dozen time? PLease stop talking out of your A$$. It just makes you look stupid when you try to talk about something you know nothing about.

Its not my kit. Its Bill Machs design/ATI's kit. They have every right to request those pictures to be taken down.

Its not so much that they have it up. Yeah... its great and nice to have pics of the kit posted out there for everyone to see, but i find TWO problems with what they did.

                A) Ask first before you go hosting other people's pictures on your server. Did stefan or Jen ask permission first? NO... thats where we have a problem.

                B) The second problem with that is that they were in the process of making their own kit design, and you don't think its even remotely suspicious that they have our kit pics on their web server? I am sure if it was the other way around Stefan would have banned the entire board by now. I think Bill is going with the right approach by first notifying them that it is copyrighted material and by asking them to take it off their server. Its not like he had a lawyer call them or anything. We've asked politely and we we're waiting patiently.

I apologize if I am asking to much to have phone calls returned, or emails answered. I guess I am wrong here.

Its not wrong for you to ask for tracking numbers or have phone calls returned. I think where this fell apart is that you felt you weren't getting feed back quick enough.

Let me give you an example, there was a time that i was at the shop and Bill was grinding away on a machine, the phone rang and rang and non one heard it over the sound of the grinding. Once the grinding stopped, we heard the last ring and by then it was too late. Bill is constantly working on projects. Sometimes the truth of the matter is, the phone just doesn't get answered because people are doing what they are supposed to.

When i meant by you can't have your cake and eat it too is that if you want the kit done quickly then you can't distract him from the task at hand. Trust me, Bill wants nothing more than to make his customers feel secure of his work and his products.

I think this board has totally blown things out of proportion and its mainly by people who aren't even directly related to this project.

I am sure that once you get your kits, you will all feel a lot better and realize why i went through bill.

All i ask is that once you get the kit that you take pics of the packaged items and post about what you felt about the quality of his work. Once you slap it on your car, please post what you think about the performance.

Nothing is more frustrating than shelling out thousands of dollars and getting no response. Best of luck to everyone involved in this, including you guys building the kit.

He doesn't have time to surf the web. If he doesn't reply to the posts then he is not providing customer service. His point was that surfing the web does take away his time from completing the project especially when he has to defend himself from flames every time he comes here. It wouldn't be so distracting if it were simple technical questions, but does anyone ever post technical question about forced induction to BIll? No... its always flames about the kit taking too long.

Its really my fault for building everyone's expectations and putting such a ridicuolus ETA for this project. If had known how involved this project was going to be and known what i know now, i would have said 1 yr right off the bat.

At least the product is quality work. Shirl, i know you have a powerdyne, wait till you see how this kit works on some of the beta tester cars. I am sure you will be impressed.

                        First off, thank you Stefan!!!

I talk to my Dad everyday about this kit. Until today he was seriously worried that we were getting screwed out of $5,045 . I kept telling him we were fine and the kit would come.

My dad has only successfully talked to Colleen once. It was around August 20. And I will admit it was 7:30 ( after hours). Messages were left at 1:30 and 4:30(during store hours) during that same day. No call back. We had to call after store hours to get service.

She told him the kit would fully ship out on tuesday, Aug 26. At this point, he was satisfied.

I sent numerous emails to the new email address that Colleen left in BATMAN's other post. All I asked for in these emails was a tracking number so that I could coordinate with the guy who is doing all the work. The only communication break is between you, colleen, and bill.

Instead of emailing me back, or calling me, I got no response. I am guessing this was because of the delay of the package. As Stefan said, you just need to be honest.

Me and my Dad have great communication, and are extremely excitied for this kit. I will still report back with all results. I will still pay extra to have my car dyno'ed so I can report numbers.

You say you are working hard for us. The Beta testers are also working hard for YOU. We are all taking risk with alot of money on the table. I work 40 hours a week, and take 18 credit hours at my engineering school. I know what its like not to have a lot of time.

Sorry if anyone thinks I am b!tching, but I work hard for my money, and all i ask for is a little customer service.

Being left in the dark after paying 5,045 is the only immature thing that I can see here :(

The beta testers are even posting that they are recieving their kits and are happy and yet you morons who have nothing to do with this post as if you paid money for the kit and are waiting for soemthing. Uggg...can we get this guy an award for ignorance?

You have no clue what has transpired between the testers and Bill, your going off a few posts and a few ignorant flames and making your own flaming post off your own assumptions. In this case, when you assumed, you only made an *** out of yourself.

And just a quick question, if you ran a business, would you guys give more attention to a customer paying $30K or a whiny customer who is paying $5k? And you beta guys DO realize your paying something like $500+ less than what it's gonna cost the general public right? Everyone in this thread sounds like a bunch of 5 year olds. And wasn't it just a $500 deposit that was required over a year ago? If I remember correctly, I saw a post only a few months ago about the beta testers needing to pay.

And think about how long it takes to get some things in, Ryan has a good point there, what if some of the things are on back order from his supplier?

As for not calling, maybe Bill is understaffed. He must be a pretty big shop if he's going to mass produce a blower for the V6 community.

The truth is, that you all are talking as if this kit is being sold to the general public already. IT IS STILL A BETA DAMN IT!!! right now the only people Bill has to answer to is the beta testers...not anyone else...not until it officially hits the market.

You guys are treating this as if it is a completed product... its not public until its endorsed...then and then only do you all become potential customers OFFICIALLY.

Once the beta testers slap the kit on their cars, get some numbers, and come back with smiles and when ATI endorses the kit, is it going to be something we have to worry about.

All the glitches, all the delays, all the problems (EVERYTHING YOU ALL KEEP LABELING AS EXCUSES) are normal for this phase. EVERY COMPANY GOES THROUGH THIS!!!!

NO PRODUCT OR SERVICE IS PERFECT DURING THE DAMN TEST PHASE!!!!! UGGGGHhh this is so frustrating... to read from you guys. You would think there would be more common sense.

Look how long my kit took...and comapre it to how long the beta tester's kit took once it was paid in full.

What i am trying to say is that during this TEST PHASE, is when the company is allowed to make mistakes, take time, to do things right. What this did for us is it helped everyone come up with a complete inventory list and specs for FUTURE KITS that will be sold to the public.

The public won't have to wait like i had to for research and developement, the public won't have to wait for an inventory of kit parts or blue prints to be made, the public won't have to deal with wrong parts being delivered on their order.

By the time YOU, the customer is allowed to order the product, it will be smoothe and easy... WHY??? CAUSE OF ALL THIS CRAP WE HAD TO GO THROUGH DURING THE TEST PHASE!

UGGGGHHH i hope i have finally made it clear to everyone. STOP TREATING THIS LIKE ITS A PUBLIC PRODUCT CAUSE ITS NOT...YET. What is happening now during the test phase has no reflection on the final product.

stefan: man, i am sorry you catch soo much crap from these people. they have no right. i think you should just sell your kit from 300 bucks less and call it a day.

Unfortuanately they found out the hard way like me that its not that easy to just put something in production. It requires a lot of planning, research, developement, testing, and help from the right people with the right resourses with the right back up to make a kit the right way.

yes, we got one kit done, but no the testing is not over. It has to be tested on different years, different weather conditions, different levels of mechanical intelligence. It has to be safe and easy to install. It can't be made out of metal tubes from someone's back yard and it defiantely can't be welded together with super glue.

If you don't believe me try it yourself. You have no idea the work that goes into making a kit of the public vs making a one off in your back yard or at a mom and pop shop.
