I just want to thank you and Mach for going the extra mile and making this project happen. I'm excited about getting the kit and will be happy to post photos, dyno results, track times, and reviews of the kit to hold up my end as beta tester.

It's too bad so many people, especially ones that aren't even involved in the beta testing have to be so negative and ASSUME. Assuming just makes you look like a fool.

Again, not a single complaint from me on this project. You and Mach have been very good to me as a beta tester during the process.

Werd, I'm just glad we will soon HAVE another go fast option. It's not like there is anything like this available as a kit to just bolt on (besides the crappy RK sport one) yet. The more forced induction kits for our cars, the more competition, less money, and faster V6's. Isn't that what we all wanted in the first place?

Your idea for the design is not practical to have people cut their throttle body. The kit delivers the power and performance that was promised. I am sorry it did not meet your engineering influenced expectations.

isnt it obvious that NO ONE wants this Kit. how many original testers are there..3 maybe. there were numerus ones in the for sale section a while ago

I would like to see some numbers on the kit. Hell, my "crappy" Powerdyne took a full second and a half off of my 1/4 mile ET. But I guess that blower is no good, eh? Anyway, #'s speak the truth and if this kit is on a car somewhere... ie Ryan's, we should see some ET's. If I recall, weren't the dyno #'s given a while back. Weren't some people a little disappointed in those #'s? At least with the RK Sport kit, there were NUMBEROUS articles on the testing of the kit before it went into production. I have EVERY article written.

Same here. I'm one of the original Vector Performance V6 F-cars. James and I were trying out new things with my car. Like Bill to Ryan, James and I got a chance to work together. I got my education on blowers from him. Like Bill and his wife, James' wife also worked there from time to time but their 5 old daughter put a toll on them. James worked 14 hours a day and he eventually closed his shop to spend more time with his daughter before she goes to school. And afterwards open up another business while still working for RKSport on their SC.

So the rumors about him going out of business is not true. My car was the last one to roll out. I really understand when Ryan said that Bill went the extra mile.

Eventhough I don't plan on buying the ATI kit, I give Bill and Ryan alot of credit. Results will definately speak for itself.

look, i am not a backyard mechanic. nor do i work for a "mom and pop" workshop liek you think. i work in a professional engine building facility. i think that kieth wanting blueprints of the kit before seeing it was a valid request. this kit has been proven not too have been "blueprinted" before assembly started. if you had done this, alot of problems would have been spared. do you no how i no this ryan????? I DO THIS FOR A ****ING LIVING!! i am not trying too flame you or bill, i jsut wonder about alot of these things. when a customer buys an engine from my shop, they get a whole blueprint and parts list if they request it. this is good business and puts the customers mind and pocket at ease. i have been n sales for the last 6 years and i am not a child. what you guys are doing isnt very proficient and i am going too speak my mind. i am not the one calling you guys this and that with vulgarity. i jsut had a few valid points too show everyone that reads this. if you remember when you were going too go on the dyno for the first time i said good luck. i must have been jinxing you and your high-price blower kit. btw, my completely custom turbo kit only took 2 weeks start too finish once i had all the parts in.i could duplicate this kit in 2 days and be ready too ship it if anyone wants one. why is yours taking soo long?????

your right, its not too much to ask to get it in a decent amount of time, but your missing my point. The kit is still a beta, this was the first time Bill was getting the parts packaged. Normally you don't see this phase because ATI only releases a product to public when all the bugs have been worked out. In this case you guys are seeing the caos that goes behind getting a kit into production. That's all. Trust me, now that a complete inventory list is done for the kit and arrangements and bugs have been worked out between Bill and ATI and other vendors who have supplied Bill with parts, when the kit hits public, the turn around time will at the most be 2 weeks and thats with delays.

If you were to order a 4.3 kit from Bill, you get it in less that time frame. The kit has been out and around for a while.

What my point is that you guys are jumping down his throat for something that up until a few months ago was in a test phase. Your treating his business practices as if every process that goes into this kit has been around for years. The beta kits were the first 5 kits to ever be packaged and put together. Of course there are going to be mistakes made in orders. Nothing ever goes right... but thats why this is a beta. Once the beta testers come back and let us know that everything is okay, the final inventory for kit will be done.

When the kit hits the public, all the bugs are worked out and they get it with in a reasonable amount of time after the order is put in.

Does this make sense? I don't know if my point is getting accross. I guess i am trying to say is I understand where you all are coming from but you guys are jumping the gun by treating this as a final product until the beta testers come back with feedback.

Yeah my numbers were low... i dynoed 270HP at the rear and only 262ft of torque with 8.5lbs. Since then things have been changed and worked out but i don't have the money to get the dyno done. There is also one more thing different between my blower and the blower's the beta kits and every kit from now on. They have a different impeller.

The impeller on my blower (unfortunately we found out later from ATI) was designed for the LS1 which is designed not to increase the low end torque since LS1's have a lot of low end torque to begin with.

The impeller on the beta testers blowers (which is what my blower was supposed to have) is designed to have more low end torque as well as high end HP. The beta testers should get a lot better numbers than i did.

I will post another dyno soon enough.

                    • Those are good #'s. Torque is about the same as the Powerdyne with 6psi. But the HP is up there. You gotta get that car to the track!

Looks like everything is quite now. I hope that one of the testers took pics and has started their install. Things are quiet... a little too quiet.

                            • I'll make some noise, and related to the original post. Mr UPS man delivered a box yesterday from Mach Performance. Inside I found a nice shiney Procharger. :D

Still waiting on my clutch/flywheel from SPEC before I can get to the dyno and make some base runs before the install.

BTW, the install guide for this kit ROCKS. Very detailed and lots of colored photos. I've read it twice now. hehe
