  • NEW POST. BETA TESTERS PLEASE READ

Hey guys, Your going to get you kits soon and i just want you to keep some things in mind when you get your kit. Remember... ever year car has subtlie differences. Although the kit is made for the 3.8 series 2, we only had a yr 2000 to look at.

Remember you are beta testers. That means if you find and differences or come to a block in the road during the install, you need to call BIll or e-mail him and I at v6batmobile@yahoo.com or billcolleenmach@aol.com, or bilmach@mackperformance.com. PLease dont broadcast it on the board Unless you don't hear back from us within 3 buisiness days. We want to keep details on the kit as private as possible because of copy right reasons. If your not sure what this means feel free to call Bill or me and we will explain.

There is no way to design a kit for every year without seeing the car and thats why we went the beta tester route. Remember the kit isn't production utnil you guys come back and gice us the "OK". We need your help to help us make sure ech kit is taylored to the difference of your year with mine.

We will also need any input. Any suggestions. Any ideas where you think a change could bring about some improvement.

We need to know how difficutl the install was, how long it took. We need you to edit the documentation in the manuals if you think there needs to be a change made based on your year or model.

I will also need to know what power gains you got out of the kit. This means old HP/TQ/times versus new.

Think like a beta tester and not the average customer. Don't just slap the thing on and hide. We need feedback. What you comeback to tell us is going to ensure how solid this kit is going to be on different yrs/models.

Again if you have any questions, please give us a call.

LAter and have fun with those kits!

        Ryan-
where did you have your car dynoed?
I guess I should call you and find out some more info....I have been so busy lately but hopefully things will start to drop off a little soon.
We really should try and meet up again sometime.
By the way how is the car running? Are you running 6lbs still or have your up'd to 10 lbs of boost?

        Anyway fill me in,

I am confused? You want us to be responsive and give feedback, but whenever I email or call the shop or you, I get no feedback. No one at Bill's shop returns phone calls or emails. And neither do you, Ryan.

I am so excited for this kit, but I am also dissapointed, as soon as we forked over the $4,750  , the communication STOPPED!

All I would like to get is a tracking number so I will be able to coordinate with the guy installing my kit. I haven't even received a response saying YES or NO!

I know you and Bill and everyone else is busy, but I am also busy, and need to find out when I need to have another car to drive, when my bird is in the shop(for the kit).

I don't know about the rest of the guys who shelled out a sh/tload of money, but I expect some customer service

          Edit:sig

No joke. I'm not a beta tester but I was, over a year ago... lol

For the MEASELY 50 dollar discount you are giving the beta testers (which is ludicrous compared to ANY other beta tester situations) you sure are asking a lot of them, and falling way short on the customer service. Get on the ball immediately before the "ball" rolls away!

This is from Mach Performance, Inc. not Batman.
                He's been posting from here.

Part of Ryan's job was to help with the communications. We had no idea when or when not, he had internet service. Due the difficulties Ryan has had in life, it has been hard for us to reach him. Most people get a hold of us. Our hours are 10-6 and I personally answer the phone all day. If the phone rings with no answering machine...that means I'm on the other line or two. If you get the answering machine, it means I had to run out into the shop. I asked Ryan to call or email you and I'm glad to see he finally did. It takes alot to put 5 new kits together, making sure they are correct and fixing what was wrong.

There should be no major world stopping differences. Things we will be looking for:

                1)Cold Air Induction set ups,
2)Intercooler hose to Throttle Body difference.

If the hose we supply will not work, we will supply one that will. Not a big deal. It shouldn't be the crisis one may think.

Directions, fully labeled will be included, in color. If at that point, the view is too blury or not quite the view you may need...I have many pics on the computer that I can email. I have a new email at the shop colleen@machperformance.com
This will come directly to my desk, so even if you're calling and can't get through, if possible email me and let me know. If you guys only knew how much my 3 phone lines ring in a day. Literally, I can't make a call out until evening.
Kits will be going out Wednesday. There were some things wrong that Bill caught before I shipped them. Unfortunately this is what goes on with the first batch of kits, until Procharger makes their packing list. I asked for 1 kit first and got all 5, so I wasn't able to make the correction on 1, but needed to on 5. Sorry for the inconvenience, but stop by some time and stay for a whole day...talk about inconviences...my job is the worst for dealing with those. Anyway I could go on and on but bare with us. The only other info we would like is your dyno numbers.
As far as customer service goes, I don't think there will be a problem. Bill and I have been real busy trying to build these kits lately and told everyone they would be getting a call from us when we knew everything was right, which I am doing now.

                Thank you for your patience,
                Colleen Mach

I noticed all the pictures of the setup have been taken offline, I'd still like to see some pictures of the setup though, incase I maybe want to go that route in future endeavors. Anyway you can post the pics again? I'm sure it would help you garner most interest with future buyers.
