  • quick ? about the turbos

So far I have browsed this board and have found that the typical turbo is a t3/t4 turbo. My question is.......would a t7 be possible and how much extra work and parts would be needed to jump up to the larger turbo?

I would think that to be way too big. One guy (mattsv6) has a Turbonetics T-71 (I think) and he had to rebuild the engine entirely and redo the fuel system for that much air coming through. Plus it would take forever to spool that big a turbo.

      T7 does not exist

      Matt's is a T62 I believe.

The streetable version of the drag turbo used on imports is a T6, but yes there is such thing as a T7. Research turbo mods and such done to Skyline GTR'S and Supras.
