Initial turbo kit release!

The day has finally come. I would like to start gathering people who are seriously interested in the turbo kits, 3.8L and 3.4L.

The price is still the same $3500. This will cover the basic kit which consists of:

-hybrid To4E 60-1 turbo
-spearco intercooler
-TiAL 35mm Wastegate
-Bosch Blow off valve
-All required Piping
-Silicone Connectors
-Cartech FMU, fully adjustible
-MSD inline high flow fuel pump
-Autometer Boost Gauge
-Manual Boost Controller
-All required lines, fittings, clamps,etc that
will be needed

Now for the options. You can upgrade to any size turbo, any aftermarket blow off valve, any aftermarket wastegate, and any aftermarket boost controllers you want. We will just add the price to the cost of the total basic kit. You will have to let me know if you would like any upgrades. We can offer anything you might need so just let me know.

Will the ignition need to be upgraded (MSD to adjust timing perhaps?) to use this turbo? Approx. how much power will this kit produce? I know it would help to do it, but is an LT1 tb NEEDED to run this kit on a 3.4? Can the intercooler be mounted parallel with the ground, or does it need to be in the nose?

Sorry for all the anal detail questions, but I'm just kinda needing to know some stuff before I can commit to it.

yes tehre will be instructions included, also all the oil lines and fittings.

the MSD is not required but would be a nice addition. It isn't that helpful in timing adjustments because of the manner in which it pulls timing, its not boost referenced. The LT1 throttlebody is not required but would help, we are selling the modified/ported intake manifold for $250.

OK, so give us the general run down here? There price is 3500 for the total kit. WIll it run off of stock internals, or will we have to upgrade. Whats the boost again? And provide an edumicated (LOL) guess on cost of installation. Since I live in Redneckville, I guess I will have to find some ricer to help me install it, LOL. Just kidding, just curious to get the low down.

Do you know if it will work with pacesetters, or do we need to buy tubular manifolds?

a arm pillar for the guages? us camaro guys dont have circle vents.
headers and Y-pipe? or does it use stock Y pipe?
going out on a limb, but would you be willing to release the instructions? maybe on oyur website or something? I'd like to look at those.

It probly won't come w/ the a-pillar mount for the boost gauge. i believe stock headers are used, and the y-pipe is made to fit those. i don't think he's designed the kit w/ headers in mind, so i doubt aftermarket header kit's will fit, unless it were for a 3.4, because i think Tiago has headers on his car and routed the piping to his turbo w/ them on. all fittings and hoses required will be sent w/ the kit. the kit will run on stock internals. the boost will be user set by using the manual wastegate controler. the kit will have a "recommended" boost setting depending on the mods in the car, but the end boost pressure is up to the driver. I'm sure tiago would be able to work out a deal w/ selling just the piping.

Disclaimer: I am not part of or associated w/ Tiago, Force Fed Fabrications, or anyone who designed this turbo kit. The responses I gave are based on hearsay information from talking w/ tiago about the kit. Talk to Tiago about this for the complete details of the kit.

the y pipe will have to be worked to fit with headers, nothing a shop couldn't do in 30 mins. The reason I didn't build the 3.8L kit with headers is because I felt the tubular manifolds were sufficient.

What artic wolf said is correct.

My 3.4 kit is built on RKsport headers, once again, if you have stock manifolds in this case, very little changes have to be made for it to fit up. Its actually easier to change it to fit manifolds then to make it fit headers. But with that said on 3.4L I recommend the headers.

basic boost setting will be about 7 lbs. The user will be able to turn it up as much as he pleases, its his responsability.

The instructions are still in progress, as soon as I get them finished I'll put it online. Also some pics of the complete system are in order also.

I just want to say congrats. I know the hard work that goes into putting a system/kit together. I know that a lot of times people turned it into a kit vs kit issue but i want you to know i have no hard feelings and wish you the best of success with your turbo kits. The bottom line is, that because of people like you and Mach Performance to take the innitiative to do what other companies wouldn't do... we now have mulitiple Forced Induction solutions for the V6fbody community. Take care bro, and if your ever in michigan, look me up.
