I have been going through o2 sensors like crazy...what might be causing that?
Also, the car runs idles really rough, and when I come to a stop, it will drop down drastically, then pick back up. also, at a stop, or when just at an idle, it will surge. noone around here can answer these questions, including the local "forced induction" experts...any help is appreciated.

I see anywhere between 5-8 lbs at WOT when I have the belt tightened down. I don't like doing that, though, because of the strain it puts on the alternator, among other things.
How do I fix the running rich part?

An adjustable fuel pressure regulator should do the trick......i think the ones they sell for the GTP's work on ours as well, but i'm not 100% sure.

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? Your FMU may be bad and could be pushing too much fuel through the injectors. My FMU caused so many problems I just took it off, went with LT1 injectors and an in-line pump instead.
ok, got the ses light, code said bad o2 sensor, no surprise there, so i changed it, had someone clear the code for me, and then it came back on after 10 minutes. I asked him to check it again, and it said that i was running lean on bank 1, which is the same side as the sensor i replaced. What would cause this, and has anyone else had this problem? my car is running worse then ever, and the idle sux still, and the way it surges is not consistent. It feels like it wants to stall when i come out of a stop. Also, not sure if this helps, but there is a strong fuel smell coming from the rear of the car. Thanks for any replies, I am about to rip this thing out of my car and be done with it...
