When rebuilding my motor with forged internals, whats the best compression to achieve? Will i want a dish-top piston to allow more air? New to forced induction- just want to build a sick motor to handle all the boost lol.

it all depends on what you want too run for boost. i plan on 30+psi in my car so i ran 7.9-1 cr. that might be overkill for whatever you are doing but it is reasonable for me. i could always get an estimate together on an engine for you if you would like. let me no ;)boost, you got it???

I'd like to know what break down of pricing would be to forge the block for high boost also. I just got a nice new college job, and I think I could save up enough money by spring time to buy a kit. I wanna do it right from the start though, and build my engine to safely handle a decent amount of boost. Suddenly this could become a possibility for me too, I'm gonna start saving up now!AIM: Alientr8tr
1998 Camaro 3.8L
Flowmaster 80-series, !FRA, Eibach Springs, KYB AGX, SLP sway bars, 3.42/LSD, Wings West kit, Z06 Motorsports, Silverstone Metallic paint
Shift 5 - My Band
