I am asking this after reading several pages of turbo info, i just want to get some more specific info and i thought here was the best place to get it.
I wanna do a simple turbo setup for my car with maybe an old GN turbo, nothing too serious at first but i was looking up under my car and i noticed a place a lil post-cat where there seems to be nothing really in the way and where maybe i could install a turbo with a splash shield and stuff of course, but i am not really certain how involved it will be.
first off, you need to get engine oil to the turbo right? i need a lil bit more specific info on how this works...
secondly, boost gauge(other gauges?) how do you set them up, is just a boost gauge sufficient or do you need some other ones too?
third, what components are necessary/recommended?
i know a wastegate would be in order but, how do they work/where do they mount? intercooler, same question?
