If you are running a low amount of boost can you run the turbo off of just one cylinder (using a single header pipe) or do you need to use the whole side? I'm asking because it would be real easy to tap into only one cylinder. Please don't make me sound like too much of an idiot for asking this.

i believe you have to have your entire exhaust running into the turbo...dont know if that makes sense the way i worded it...but you might be able to figure it out lol

you could do that but you wouldnt get any benifits from it at all. a tiny turbo will be needed too spin from such a small exahust volume. and it will not put out a significant amount of boost.
      boost, you got it???

Could you use just one side of the exhaust or do you need to use the whole engine?

you can, but its not a good idea. Much better to use both sides.
