• Turbo Headers Complete! **better pics!!!** - Update-

Got the headers connected to the turbo now. Its lookin badass! Cant wait to JetHot Coat them! Its just take welded but its all complete. Downpipe is next, intercooler is mounted just need to do those pipes next as well. Here are pics....they arent the greatest but o well.....

FYI..those ghetto lookin brackets are just to hold the turbo in place till the headers can hold it up, they arent there to stay lol.

Here are 2 better pics!...

looks pretty good man. i have jsut 2 questions. those headers/ uppipes. what do they weigh and how much of a pain in the a** are they too install. looks like a one piece design. that might be a bad thing when it gets time too take it off for inspection
boost, you got it???

no inspection, and unless they changed the design since friday, it should be a 3 piece design.

Looks good shane... now you know YOU need to grind off the weld's before coating... lol

yeah the pics suck but o well....yeah theres no inspections in Florida Yes its a 3 piece setup.....each header goes into a 2 bolt flange so I can take it off easily.

The headers weight around 10-13 lbs each....not sure though and yes are are easy to take in and out.

something to think about

also is it hard to change your plugs?

his turbo looks low, but is as high as possible for the oil draining.

the turbo sits at or lil above the crank bolt so the oil lines should be fine.

we designed the headers so the plugs sit underneath and very easy to change from top and from underneath. 1 is easy from top and 2 are easy from underneath on each side so the plugs are no prob and have plenty of room.
