What kind of fuel pumps do you guys suggest that will best support my supercharger. I also want to go to 9 psi can anyone give my the info on what I need to do that, thanks
Modifications:
headers, throtle bod spacer, flowmaster, high flow magnaflow carsound cat, powerdyne sc with 2.9\" pulley and by-pass valve, walboro 255 fuel pump, spec stage 2 clutch, and HP Tuners
Walbro 255 is the best option. You just have to make a cut out at the top. Check Modification Review, there is a site you can follow on how to install one.
Inline pumps are just too loud but will work fine and is the easiest one to install, and boost a pump may cause premature wear on the stock pump but also easy to install.

I would go striaght to the In-tank. Walbro 255 High Pressure. They are on Ebay for out cars for 100 bucks shipped.
If it cant Flow it, FORCE it!

1999 M5 Camaro RS. Boost is on the way. Cartech FMU, 255 intank, T3/T4 BB 62-1 , Stage 5 turbine wheel .63 A/R.
The guy at the shop that is going to do it said he would install a walboro 255 and he could get one for $130. Is there more than one walboro 255 or is the 255 the high pressure one. Also he said he would install the pump for $345. I knid of trust this guy he did my clutch install and seems very noligable in high performance stuff. I wish I could do this myself and save the $345 but my apartment complex won't allow me to work on my car here. Also, I don't have the propoer tools here to do that kind of work.
The mechanic said that you have to drop the rear axle to get the gas tank out, is he right.

Dropping the tank is the normal way, but like Thor said, there is a site out there that details how to access the pump by cutting a small hatch inside the car, behind the back seat. It looks pretty easy. You just need a dremel or other cutting wheel-type tool, and regular tools like screwdrivers, etc.
Here ya go bud, I Emailed the guys and ran the part number. This is for the Walbro 255 High Pressure pump. I just ordered it...Cant beat it for 100 Shipped!

Or you can cut and access hole in the rear of your car and do it your self.... the tools can be rented. You'll make noise cutting the hole then there is no real nosie making.
Sponsors of this board usually have the pump for a little over $100, and it's the kit that has the new harness, and everything else you might need for the install.
To clear up the confusion, the LS1 cars and our 3.8's use the high pressure pumps. Most if not all years of the LT1 cars used a low pressure pump, so don't get one of those:)
www.fullthrottlev6.com THE SOURCE!
yes, get the texas speed one.. its virtualy plug and play which is nice..
as far as cutting you rear deck goes..
I did it.. be VERRRRRRRRRRRRY f-ing carefull if you do this!
like get a rotery tool with a depth guard and only cut so its just ever so slightly though the sheet metal. that or a little shallow and then pry the rest out.. the fuel lines literaly run right up agenst the area where you will be cutting the trap door.. and depending on what style tank and lines you have you could easaly cut right though one.. which would blow big time!
for $130 i would probably jsut get the tank dropped and have it installed the right way.. but I was lazy..
