Hey Nate,

I've been meaning to talk to you since I knew you have been posting about a s/c and being in the College Station area is very convenient. Yes I am Rick's brother, the guy with the insane Transam in town. I'm actually interning in Houston so shoot me an email sometime to see if we can meet somewhere in Col. Stat. soon.Thanx.

      hey dominic,
thats was i was also thinkin about, but i read some posts here about the six pack, and what i got from it was that you need a new fuel pump and computer tuning to your computer to run that safely, so it turned me off, now it was my understanding that was the case if you got the whole pack, but cant you get the pieces individually? if so, which part has the best mix of power and bolt on safety?

        To add on..

        Dom,

No one has really answered the approximate H.P. gain delivered from the heads and cam.

My guess is around 50 h.p.? I have no clue though.

Heads/Cam There are lots of different numbers from this mod. because all cam's are different and everyone gets heads made different to fit there needs. I have heard a ball park HP gain of 35-40HP at the wheels. I am currently in the process of doing this. See my post in advanced tech.

heads, cam, with nitrous and a converter and gears, ohh yes tires would be a must

if you can drive worth a dam you should hit 12's all day and if you tuned your car or if you got someone to reprogram your PCM i belive high 13's N/A all day long

hehe that would just be plain mean to have a hidden nitrous system on a little ol v6 ;) dam that would just be evil

the powerdyne s/c from ftforce is for 98-02 camaro v6's only, its says it under the pricing, it also says that they are waiting to change this. That is what i seen, is there actually a bolt on kit for 99 and newer 3.8 birds??

If it's a bolt on kit for the 98-02 V6 Camaros, it's a bolt on kit for the 98-02 V6 birds also.

If you want a really fast car go for nitrous or wait till the ATI kit comes or make your own ATI kit if you dont wanna wait.

going fast on a budget i would look into nitrous it is safe and you can have a 100hp diffrence with the push of the button for no more then a 1/3 of the price of the powerdyne. (if you spent 1k on a nitrous system it would be pretty good you could get most everything you might need for 700)

You can run with the 9lb pulley and get 100hp. Have you seen the main article on this forum? It has pictures and everything of the install. They gained 100hp with the 9lb pulley.
