what kind of 1/4 time diff am i looking in a blower and 3.08's (over 1 sec?, over 2 sec???)? should i upgrade to the 3.42/lsd combo instead? which is going to help the engine and my acceleration the most? I KNOW i should do both if i'm going to do one...but the funds aren't really looking like they can support that...so which one do i go for instead? thx.

I'd say go with the 3.42 w/ LSD. That should be a mod you do earlier in your mod fest :D . It's a lot cheaper thatn a blower of course, but you shuld also be very pleased with it.
