Ok, so I took the blower off.. was going to install my stock lid/box.. couldent find the tray so we couldent use it (found it in my car today.. lost in plain sight.. DOH)

anyway the end of the filters that come with the powerdyne kits are 3.5" ID..

what do you do when you dont have 3.5" pipe to hack up to make an intake?

It fits right on the TB but needs a clamp to hold it on well..

and yes.. that is my iat sensor zipped tied to the crushed filter..

the filter was crushed for "effect"

anyway, jsut something to keep in mind if you ever get into that situation..

This weekend I will thorw the normal airbox on now that I have the tray..

        DUDE!

I want to copy that pic and post it everytime a noob asks about modding intake. Please, can I?

I figured you were using the stock airbox with 3" flex hose to the blower...I never took you for a cone filter kind of guy.

        I gotta save that pic.

feal free to do whatever you want with the picture..

flex hose + airbox wont really work with my setup.. its hard to do on the 2000+ cars.. that and i dont really trust it.. plus thre is really not much to be gained by running an airbox like that..
