Anyone know where I can get a FMU rebuild kit? After a month of frustration I have finally concluded that my FMU is bad. It's boosting pressure to 100+ psi at WOT and I should only be seeing around 70. The extra pressure has been locking up the injectors and causing the car to fall on it's face.
Yesterday I went with some LT1 injectors. First test drive and still locking up the injectors. I pulled the fuse for the inline pump and my max pressure at WOT was down to 40 and the car pulled HARD. Ran like it was supposed to and O2's were even on the rich side. So with bigger injectors I have enough fuel with the stock pump. But the stock injectors can't provide enough fuel and I would run lean. With the inline pump running it gives the FMU enough pressure to go bonkers in the 100+ range.
So I either need a new FMU or I know they are rebuildable and that would be the cheaper route.
