OK so i talked to bill today about the procharger system and he was telling me you experience around 280hp at the rear weels at 10psi after adding this amazing system with only a few other minor mods. now i guess my questions are; is this true, what is the difference in fuel economy, and if i get this system and i want to run say 15-20psi what internal upgrades would be neccesary, ie cam, pushrods, pistons, connecting rods, etc. i am really stoked about this system and just want to know more about it. yes you should put down 280rwhp easy with 10psi with minor mods like exhast
you would see a diffrence in mpg deppending on how much you rip on it (when in boost the car needs more fuel in turn you will get worse gas milage but it will put a smile on your face)
to run 15-20 psi you would want to atleast drop in gtp internals if not the 8:1 foreged pistons
heads would benfit you alot because they can flow more air
cam not nessacry but again you would put down more power i would go with a mild cam just because we dont have great computer programing yet
for your info if done right i think you could see 500rwhp coming out of a built procharged engin no problem

the most i ever expect to get out of this thing is 400hp and at that point it might become a trailer queen. I cant see getting 500 out of it.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

I think 500 might be a little out of the question. I can easily see 3.8s reaching 400hp though. Who knows though, if done right, someone might be able to make a 3.8 get 500hp

i think at that point it would be cheaper to buy an ls6 and a blower for it though. i mean that is an f-ing built v6 at 500hp! not streetable at all.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

20 lbs of boost will do it.
but I don't know on the MAch kit, don't know the specs of the head unit they use.

It's doable with their kit. All you need to do is upgrade the head unit to a D1 for more air flow.Michael Huff
92 RS, 98 V6, 97 SS, 00 Z28
http://www.carolinafbodyclub.com/
