get an ls1 maf, or trial and error tune the lt1 maf..

that gunna be hard to find.. and even if you do.. I doubt the numbers would be all that usefull.. the ecms and how they were used were quite different back in lt1 days..

Could have fooled me I thought he was trying to setup his car for the new A1-R setup I've been hearing a lot about on the cavi forums. Some form of intake you have to reprogram for. Beats me.

I had an LS1 MAF, and I sent it back. My turbo has a 3" air intet, I have 3" cold air ducting, and my filter has a 3" orifice. It would be futile to have a 3.5" MAF nestled in that setup. I just got the LT1 unit for less than half the price, and it will be more accurate.

I just reprogrammed the MAF table for LS1 values, but I haven't run the car yet. I want the LT1 values so the meter will be dead nuts accurate.

THey do not need to be changed right now, however.

Personally, I think you should check into the A1-R. I've heard good things about it.

Personally, I have an itch on my testicles. On a more serious note, get me a link to this mighty A1-R.

Maybe it will be better than the 300 dollar custom made T304 SS CAI I just had made. I have a totally off the wall custom turbo kit. I doubt I can use an off the shelf intake, but I will investigate it for you, when I finish scratching.

A1-R is possibly the best thing known to man, I found out you spray it into your intake.

So I called up one of the tuner shops around by me, (eip tuning, they made the 600hp r32 volkswagon) and asked them if they had any A1-R. If you write it down, A1R, you'll see its really just air but I had them going for about 20 minutes about this stuff. I was just givin you a hardtime man. Hope you got a smile out of it. Your turbo does sound impressive, I havn't been floating around the FI section of the board so I am kind of lost with what you are exactly running but I'm checking your cardomain site now. Don't take my kidding to heart.

Ok you got me there.. but what about your window motor fluid?

Honestly.. why not 3.5" becuase if you get a silicone 3->3.5 transition is shuld be fine.. and then a 3.5" silicone strait or elbow will match up to your TB perfectly.. well not perfectly.. but if you boil the end of the 3.5" coupler in water for a few mins then get angry at it they will slide on to the TB.. then form to it really well in my experience..

Yeah, but I don't want to spend another 200 bucks on an LS1 maf and 2 $32 couplers.

I already have a really slick setup that I like, I just need some #"s to program it with. Find them for me and I will give you 20 bucks.
