I think mine is at 5 psi, then goes up to around 9-10 and levels off at 8 psi. This is with no intercooler.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

i was just want some numbers b/c alot of people brag on turbo lag... but if the turbo fully spools (hit the set PSI) at 3000 rpm I can see how the SC motor would get al ittle jump in the lower RPM but soon as the turbo spool i think it would atleast make up for it if not more....www.turbov6camaro.com

It also depends what gear you are in, 1st gear I can see 5-7 psi at 3000 rpms but if I'm in 2nd and get on it at 3000 rpms I'll hit 8-10 psi. 3rd gear is about 5-8 psi.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Here is a link to a thread at clubgp talking about when different turbos spool. Most start spooling around 3k and are fully spooled around 4k. The only problem is none say how much boost is fully spooled.

with a 6lb pully on a powerdyne you basically get 1psi per 1000rpm. centrifugal SC's are linear so its really easy to see how much power can be achieved at each rpm.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

Centrifugal is more linear than anything. Awesome for top end for most Centrifugal SC. PD is a little unique. Boost can start early and work it up to redline. SC like Vortech and ATI you start seeing the boost at around 2500-2800 rpm and then be at full boost at around 5000 and over. Ofcourse, the smaller you go on the pulley the more immediate the boost gets.
Wipple SC is the best. You can be at full boost at around 3000 rpm or even lower. Boost starts the moment you turn on the engine. That's why it's Corky Bell's favorite force induction.
