You're right. There is a valve in the intake to control that.

    But apparently boost can overpower the valve and get past it. It would be interesting to test it and see how much boost it takes. Or if it just leaks because it's not designed to hold back boost.

    I wonder how the GTP takes care of that?
    </font>
all it is is a gravity "valve" basically a ball the plugs a hole and I took mine apart an it would be vary easy for high PIS to sneak by it

      yeah, i guess once you start pounding it with 7psi of pressure it yeilds some by...so my best bet is just drill those vent holes and plug the tube in the tb. Then do a breather from the oil cap....andrew can you take a pic of where you drilled the holes??

          </font>
I'll have to try that. Hey sorry I didn't help you with your header install. I had a big job interview spring out of nowhere the day we were talking about doing it. I now have a non-terrible job with non-crappy wages.

          The gian ghetto breather we built a couple weeks ago is now saturated in oil. It drips it onto the exhaust, and the damn car still smokes.

              it's all good dude, I didn't get past the heat shields cuz the bolts stripped and were totally rusted; prolly gonna do it down here in a few weeks with my roommate. Good luck gettin all that stuff sorted out though, there definitely was a decent amount of oil shootin around.

                I think 'riles' first came up with drilling holes in TB to vent positive pressure. (at least riles guide is the oldest I have come across.)

                There are acually three ways to re route the pcv for forced induction.

                1) breather and TB plug.

                2) breather, TB plug and drilled TB.

                3) breather, TB plug and rout the PCV back into the system. (this means into the blower intake somewhere...this means having gasses and goo inside the blower/turbine. It seems dangerous)

                I have done number one.
