• Okay, so tell me all what I need....PLEASE!

I just bought John_D's old Powerdyne, SLP 25lbs Injectors, Holley 255lph intank. I already have NGk-TR6's. What all will I need now?

Do I need to get HPTuners? I think im planning on getting 4.10's and an aluminum driveshaft...

I need to know what all I need to make this system work properly at 10psi...

BTW I have SLP Fan Switch, 160º Stat, Headers, High Flow Cat, Exhaust System, CAI.

I think you will need hp tuners. it will help with tuning the injectors and also calibrating speedo for your 4.10.

    you will want aftermarket exhaust.

you will need to get started on all the related 'prep' mods to the engine to get it ready for the powerdyne.

Not all people upgrade injectors to run at 9 psi. You will need the 255lph though. He had periodic spikes of 11 to 12 psi with that pulley as well...maybe the injectors will be your goal afterall.

Others can help you more with tuning those 25 pounders.

oh, fuel pressure gauge...most important. It will let you know if the FMU is working as well as you can use it to calculate boost as well. (divide before and after fuel PSI by 6 = boost PSI.) By before and after I mean before the FMU kicks in and after the FMU has kicked in.

We can be more helpful in stages. Pick a topic or
two and it will be easier than everything all at once.

Definitely fuel pressure gauge. The injectors will likely necessitate HPT / DHP for idling issues (I think?). See what issues you run into on the bolt-up. Have you decided to use the half tb or your own?

Did you also get his TB. He had his cut short, which is very unique.

definitely HPT or DHP ..tuning and fuel supply are going to be most important here..one just as important as the other..i ran enough fuel to run 9 psi on my car but did not have any tuning so the advanced timing was giving misfires..if you have the injectors i would put them in anyway..its not that big of a job..but you will have to tune for it..once its all tuned and ready it should be one kick @ss setup

I would plan on getting hptuners. I tried tuning with a maft and with a mini-afc, and it was very difficult to get it right. It actually ended up running best with the maf unplugged and defaulting to speed-density mode.

But the optimum setup would be hptuners to get your idle right with the bigger injectors, and to get the tuning right for wot too. Also you could copy in an ls1 maf table, that would probably work well if you keep the ls1 maf setup that I was using.

              Are you auto or manual?

The hptuners will let you make the changes for the gears, and if you're auto it will let you change the shift points too. And you can tweak the timing advance too. It's got a lot of benefits. I wish it had been available when I was running the blower...
