I don't know much about the 3.4L, I personally have more confidence in the 3.8 than the 3.4.

Take some of that money and save it, really think about it before you spend 8k on the car.

And like Palmer said, don't just beef up your motor & leave the rest to fend for itself. Really, the motor should be the last thing you beef up.
