shouldn't be more than a few hours but make sure you have a full day incase of problems.

yup..no more than an afternoon..and thats with EVERYTHING..as i've said before i ran 6psi with nothing but the bolted on blower (no FMU or timing retard..just 93 octane fuel..which of course i am not recommending) and that took me about a 1/2 hour!
C16? you dont even need that, 93 octane should be fine, especially if you retard the timing. 6psi is pretty safe.

They do.
It takes more than 6 hours.
it takes some people 2 to three hours just to change the spark plugs or to disconect the fuel lines.
do all the prep mods first...john_d wrap, PCV bypass, fuel pressure gauge, install FMU, install timing retard module, start running premium fuel before you intall the blower. Dont forget you will need a 2 claw pulley puller and suggest ngk tr6 plugs gapped to .035.
Check out my website. I have a whole section of guides for installing and running the powerdyne.
good luck. g

Hea, this is exactly what I want to do to my 99 bird. 3.8. Do you need new injectors, or a new fuel pump? I wanted to bolt something up to my stock 6, and get some results, but be able to drive it anywhere, anytime. Like back to my home state of Kansas, or just around town. I dont want to blow it up. Please let me know if I can do that on a stock motor. I'll follow this REAL close. Thanks guys, Jessica

Jessica: 6 psi is no problem. that is what comes with the rksport powerdyne kit. you will not need new injectors nor a new F-pump for 6 psi. You will want to add a fuel pressure gauge.
my mpg is the same but the car has a great deal more power.
with the additional 'powerdyne prep mods' you will be golden.
if you also have aftermarket exhaust you will get more out of the powerdyne. (for starters...there is always more you 'can' do...but good exhaust is pretty big deal when compared to simplicity and affordability of new exhaust.)
Add a powerdyne and you will think you are driving a 'red barcheta.'
p.s. don't follow 'just another v6's' threads too closely. He has a rather modified (and famous) powerdyne kit that he is installing. It is more involved by far than the average 6 psi powerdyne.
