There is proof. This car is non intercooled.
It is the prototype car for KBS Turbo, which works closely with yours truly (FFF). They make the turbo kits possible.

12 psi final tuned went 325 rwhp and 370 rwtq.
12 psi tuned plus 50 shot went 439 rwhp and 430 rwtq! :eek:

Must I emphasize that it is NON INTERCOOLED?

Imagine the possibilities in you guy's intercoolded setups.

The potential is great, but someone has to be willing to push the envelope. Hopefully some of you will this year with all this turbo stuff getting on a roll....

We were on the dyno with it until midnight last night. Another thing to be stressed is that this is an automatic. And it is a completely stock internals L36 with no PCM programming. Larger injecters were used and kept under control via maf signal manipulation with a mini-afc.

This allows us to further explore L36 development on both the f-body and w-body fronts and continue to make SICK numbers with our cars. By partnering with FFF and Nu-Line Concepts (for Grand Prixes), both companies which specialize in their markets, I fully intend to bring the series II community to the next level.

The final peices of the turbo kit GP should be shipping soon after delays getting flanges built. With further experimentation and tuning, we will give our customers the results and it's my hope that 12 second v6 f-bodies cease to be the rare exception, they are par for the course. I would like to see 11s and even 10s as the new standard to rate ones self against!

I thought the link says 10psi?? not 12. Either way that thing is ripping ***, of course people will talk smack about the N20, but might as well have the best of both worlds. What kind of "tuning" did the do?? Now picture that output in a RWD car.

that car is just like qmp's 750hp stock ls1

it could dyno that all day but when they finaly took it to the track after like the 2nd pass the motor was gone

not bashing just think its pointless if the motor cant take that power on a regular baisis

if it can then cool, im also sure he was on race gas and in the post the nitrous was more then 50 they are saying 50-75

cp im not flaming qmp's kit was intresting but when they went to run it it ran 11's with 700+ hp whoppdee do and then lost the motor (one of the reasons they did this was beause people said their kit didnt work as good on a stock ls1 like it did on their old built turbo z)


but honestly if someone ran a 10sec pass and blew the motor honestly who gives a ****

now if your car can run 10's and you can drive it like that on the street, thats an acomplishment


not a dyno queen, dyno pull last what 4 sec's with out a real load on a dynojet, a 1/4 mile is going to take 3 times that and the load on the motor is what really does it in

also if it aint a problem and the motor can take it then take it to the track and run something other then a 14 sec pass


thats as fast as any KBS turbo kit has run

I think its time to add some gtp parts to my wish list along with intank fuel pump,lsd, 3.73 gears and a msd setup.

think i could get all this for about a 1500, but might need a cluch first so thats another 500 and then i would have to pay for the lsd and gears install. so about 2500 total. after helping radcat with he in tank fuel pump i think i could do that my self or i could go back to tulsa and do a project day or 2 at speeds house.lol
