I have a question about the eaton charger, does it have to bolt on to the intake manifold or does it have tubing like most others??? Also, If you have the supercharger running backwards, is it ok to just reverse the piping on it? So that the normal intake is now the output etc??? I am thinking about mounting a centerfugal charger with the pully facing towards the motor, and welding a new pully onto the old one, so it has a dedicated pully. Where can I get custom piping made??? Thanks

eaton goes onto intake manifold
you cant reverse piping you can reverse blades though (it still blows air out the same spot and sucks it in the same spot)
piping can be made at exasght shops and stuff, any place that can weld basicly
the powerdyne and the ati are both facing engin
you would have to get a cutsom crank pully with one added to it you might could use the gtp one i think they have 2 i dont know
you cant just weld one on, it has to be balanced

not true. Eaton has a unit that has a inlet and outlet, and all you would have to do is make a plate with a pipe in in it. they used tihs model (i dont remember the number) for the 3400 SFI Grand Am GT (2000) S/C'd version. its a concept rolling around. basically the Supercharger itself holds onto the engine with a few brackets, and the pulley sits in the serpentine belts path, and there is an inlet and outlet pipe..would be totally doable... ah hell..heres a pic:
http://www.n-body.net/gallery/images...1-0104_IMG.JPG
bad thing about that setup -- it would be REALLY REALLY hard to make that work seeing as how the SC inlet is facing the firewall (if you turn the motor the correct way..in the FWD enginebay, the intake is on backwards, so if you turned the engine to work in a RWD car (f-body) the Throttle Body would hit the firewall)
by SC inlet i mean the inlet on the back of the supercharger. here is the other problem = the 3.8 is pretty wide. i dunno that you would actually have room for an item this large in addition to the motor..but good luck with whatever ya do.

Ok this is how it works. Number 1 you have to buy GTP heads and intake manifold along with the GTP fuel rails and injectors. Click on the link scroll down to the pic of the supercharger. The intake is at the front of the vetts engine using the stock airbox assembly. So the only thing you would have to worry about buying besides the stuff listed above is that setup without the supercharger. Buy the supercharger "wich by the way is a M90" on Ebay for like 5 to 7 hundred. Unless you want to pay 4000 for the whole kit from lingenfelter. It is really possible to put this on I still havent desided if im going to follow through with my project or not but who knows.2001 Sunset Orange Camaro A4
Best times:
N/A--14.3
60\'--1.98
NOS 125--????

What the.....
Brad. That is not even a Camaro, nonetheless a V6 Camaro through that link. What are you even thinking? In no way does that link.... wow.
And just buy the GTP heads, intake manifold - um - have you completely forgotten about the clearance issues with the firewall?2002 Camaro SS 6 Spd
Sebring Silver Metallic
Still breaking it in
Traded in - 2002 V6 5 Spd Camaro.
\"I\'ll never trust squirrels again.\"

Ok first off it is an M90 supercharger ok. I dont give a rats *** what it goes on a V8 V6 or whatever that doent change where the belt drive is located on the charger. Using a regular M90 the intake would be on the back of the "engine" Using the setup in the picture the intake stays in the front and you can use your stock airbox. And cry me a damn river about your firewall. Cut it out and buy a hood that fits. Hell you dont even know if you will have firewall issues especially with the charger facing the right way now. When you think of something intelligent or to say respond otherwise just dont talk. Thanks2001 Sunset Orange Camaro A4
Best times:
N/A--14.3
60\'--1.98
NOS 125--????

Wow, you don't think there's a difference in the block size or the intake manifold which has 8 cylinders to feed rather than 6. Where the belt is located isn't even the problem with our cars.

Really? To me it looks like it still take air in the opposite side as the belt in that pic.

Hahahhhhahahahaha yeah, hey everyone lets just cut out our firewalls therefore heating up the passenger cabin to a couple hundred degree's from the engine. And what about the windshield? Just gonna cut that out too huh? Wow you're dumb.

Ummmmm, the charger would still face the same way.... Do you not see the trend here? You get dumber with every sentence.

Oh please, you should not be telling others to think of something intelligent to say. You're the moron.

Ok first off i have had about all yalls bull **** im gonna take. If you look at the damn picture the pully is facing the firewall. The belt is connected to a second pully that runs the length of the charger and connects to the engine pully. Therefore reversing the charger and facing the intake to the front of the car. O and about the manifolds changing. The M90 bolt pattern is made to fit almost any V car out there. How about a little research in this before you start telling someone that knows about it. Jack *** .2001 Sunset Orange Camaro A4
Best times:
N/A--14.3
60\'--1.98
NOS 125--????
