Well said.

Jessica,
losen the serpentine belt. (there is a stock belt routing diagram on the drivers side fenderwell to put it back)
Get under car. Stretch some of the belt across the crank pulley and straight over to the AC pulley. Hold it tight. You will see where the belt rubs on the oil filter extension.
As for the improved belt routing: Once you are installing the powerdyne and have already replaced the stock tensioner pulley with the powerdyne tensioner pulley as well as 'put the belt loop' in
place to be ready for the blower it will all make sesne. The belt has to go somewhere and that somewhere will be obvious. Don't sweat the belt wrap.
My t top car has two screws holding in the A pillar cover. The drivers side t top needs to be removed to get to the screws. Once those are off the lower portion of a pillar cover is just pressure cliped down near the fuse box. Just twist it loose from the door seal.
It is easier to wire the back of fuse box if you take the lower two dash panel covers off. the bolts are 9/32" and the push pins seem tight but they wiggle out. With the lower panels removed and the fuse box pulled out of it's hole (another 9/32" bolt) you can run wires from the under the pillar caver down past the side window defroster vent and into the dash (behind the head light switch). Make sure you have discontected the battery before you start pulling out the fuse box.
Leave a little extra slack in the wires you are adding. Use the same gauge (size) wires as are used in the gauge pigtails the come with your FP gauge, boost gauge, whatever. You can attach multiple gauges to the same GROUND. there is a nice bolt under the lower left dash area you can use for a ground.
Your car may have the exact same fuse pannel wireing as mine so check my pics first. You can test with continuity tester if need be.
Check out the link to Brent Frankers web site that I have posted on my 'wiring guides' web pages. He has a lot more detail about auto wireing in general and also F-body specific...how to solder,
types of connectors, etc. Those little 'quick link' connectors come in real handy.
If you don't have it already...you can pick up a basic auto wireing kit for about 5 to 8 bucks at most any hardware store. it will come with the special crimp pliers (that also have a guage guide and wire stripers built in) as well as an assortment of crimp connectors. After a kit like that the only thing you may have to buy is some quick links and some colored wires of proper gauge
size. Oh, and eletrical tape...for insulating connections and also making sure they do not come apart.

someone knows the rules!! At least you don't get your panties in a bunch like some of the others here.

dude I can take a 2.2L Sunfire into the 7s if I want. Pointless argument. My point was why waste money on this car when there's easier motors (hint LSX series motors from Chevy, the 03/04 Cobra, Supra, etc.) to get the power you want. Creativity...fine. I prefer to just slam the gas and know I have some power with as little money as possible.

Do I care if you're impressed? Telling me I stepped down? FYI I get cheaper insurance rates, better gas mileage, a much more nimble of a vehicle, seats more people comfortably, stays under the cop radar, oh and the motor has better mod potential than your V6 since the head design on that 3800 is beyond horrible.
Anyways back on topic...sort of. I didn't come here to start **** until the Mighty DORK decides to come in and cry like a little girl because I was suggesting a cheaper/more gratifying method of modifying a car. You wanna piss away your savings on a lost cause, be my guest. It seems that Jessica here is on a STRICT budget and this is her DAILY DRIVER. Due to that, doing this to the V6 is not a good idea in my opinion.
Greyman, Thank you! I was going to start on the preps as soon as I can. I'm not getting rid of the car, and this is the easiest mod, with the most potential, besides nitrous, which I don't want. That is why Im asking all these questions. So I don't blow it up, do it right, and am happy with a zippier car. I'm not building a bracket racer, I just don't want to be THAT embarrassed at a stoplight. Understand? 99? I don't want another headache. THat's what will happen if I buy a used v8. Somethings always going to be wearing out, I have had that problem before. If you can find me a white 1999 V8 for $6,900 with 40,000 miles with t-tops, everything works, smells new, (like mine) tinted windows, electric everything but seats) then I would pounce on it, and sell mine. That's what I have minus the v8. I can't afford insurance on 2 cars, let alone park them both where I live anyway. I think you mean well, but you don't understand the fact that this is what I have, am stuck with for awhile and I really like it. It's just not fast enough the way it sits. I respect your opinions, and I'm sure your Neon is dear to you. I've decided to wait for a used sc, just get the preliminaries out of the way first. I just hope I don't get burned on the deal. Better off new may be the way to go, i just may not be able too now. Jessica

Shows how much you know about motors. The 3800 not only has much greater potential then your sh*tty 4, it will also outlast it.

How is buying a used V8 a headache yet a used V6 not? Sounds like you have a good running car though so no worries. Anyways good luck with your supercharger.
I demand a race though once it's installed and a ride in it. ;)
Twistedbird...what will I hear next the 3800 can put out more power with the right $$ than a 2JZTE You're a waste of a post.
If you guys argue and they take this down, all my information goes with it, and I will get mean. So behave. 99, I met the lady who owned it, we went to lunch. She didn't trash it. V8's get trashed, unless there garage queens. Me
