Yes i am new to supercharger and i wanted to put one on my 3.8L camaro. A friend is telling me to buy a supercharger form general motors for 500 dollors and he says it good. Is it a good supercharger or no i think it must suck if its only 500 dollors.

he is prolly talking about the roots type supercharger from eaton that comes on the grand prix GTP and the supercharged buicks..
the thing is..those are front wheel drive cars, and the engine is sitting in sideways.
ours are rear wheel drive and sitting in the engine bay facing forward..
with the roots type blower there will be some clearance issues and will cost lots of money and time to fabricate it.
and im sure its more than 500 bucks..
wait on Batman's project to come along. its gonna be costly but in the long run it will be nice amd worth it..
