  • ordered 2.6" pulley

Well I ordered a 2.6" grooved pulley from ASP racing today. I should get it in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to see how much boost it will put out. Right now I'm only seeing 6-7lbs max. How much do you think it will bump it up to?

2.6 I believe is well over 12-14 psi. Good luck!!

What style of grooves are you getting on your pulley?

Something like that. I figure if I'm getting 6 pounds right now with the 2.9 , I'll will end up with around 9-10 pounds with the 2.6". I post as soon as I get it installed.

Cool.....Yu beat me two the 2.6......I got 10 pounds with my 2.8 and some people have seen even more with 2.75. So you will easily be at 10-12 with a 2.6...

With a tight belt I would hit 13 psi at the top of 2nd gear, on a 2.75 pulley. (but I was running lean)

I leave the belt just a tiny bit loose now, and hold 10 psi all the time.

I just tightened the belt today and still only got a max of 7psi. I'm thinking the cam has alot to do with it and the heads and intake. I'm expecting around 10 to 11 psi with the 2.6" pulley. I'll let you know when I get it installed and running. I just spent about 3 1/2 hours replacing my cruise control cable( what a pain in the a$$). Would of gone quicker if I had a lift.
