It depends on how much psi you run.
If you run 14 psi at your hp peak rpm you could get about 300hp at the crank.
If I ran 14psi at 6000 rpm (my peak hp)I would get all most 400hp at the crank, but 2 things.
1 I built (well working on) the top half of the engine and 2 the stock pistons wouldn't take 400hp.
3 My K03's tubos won't push 14psi at 6000 rpm.
You should do more than just put on a turbo.\'85 Z28, T-tops new LG4 and TH700
\'85 3.4L 5-speed
mods: http://www.cardomain.com/id/oil_pan_4 the nitrous exhaust O2 safety, pg 3.
Areo space materal engineer wantabe

sounds good, so 9-12 psi on stock would be best?
(T3/T4 hybrid up to the task?)
also, what do you think i should get done to my engine. what top end changes have you done, still stock cam?

I think its like 250-275 on a stock engine. i see you have a cat back on so that will help reduce back preasure, which is very important when dealing with turbos. you might want to think about upgrading to 3" later on. i would suggest getting a high flow catco cat (3" in and out to be safe) when you get the turbo. I also beleive that Tiago said you can use headers with the kit so they would probably be a good idea as well. You will be fine with stock internals. your stock cam is pretty good for the turbo so keep that. get a bigger fuel pump, like the walbro 255, and maybe bigger injectors. later i would say get your lower end built up first, allong with new pistons (you will want to lower your compesion so you can put more boost to the engine if you build up the bottom end). other things to look into are things like roller rockers, roller lifters and basically anything that makes your engine more efficient. as for doing it yourself, it will be cheaper but will take a lot longer, will probably require tuning, and if your arent good with tools its just a bad idea. i would suggest sticking with the kit like you were thinking. if you want aim me at tpunk2001 or email me at tpunk2001@yahoo.com. im more than willing to answer your questions (i have nothing better to do now that im looking for a job and only have one class left at college). good luck with the turbo, its a great kit from what everyone who has it says and tiago really knows his **** so i dont doubt it.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

I still have yet to try out a kit on a stock 3.4 But like he said I expect about 270 hp or so at Id say ~10 psi. Im merely guessing here.
Then again,
my engine with free flowing heads and intake manifold puushed 380 hp / 460 tq
How much could the heads/intake be worth? ;)

Hey tiago. Didnt you run your turbo on the stock bottom end for like two years. Yours is a T04 right? How much boost did you run normally? Thanks.Jordan
15.09@90.7
1995 Camaro 3.4 M5

heads and intake would make the turbo run much more efficiently too. was planning to the the same not too far down the road..
