Very cool idea, but any jet of compressed air will work - like from a SCUBA tank. Expanding gases are very cold - thats all you need ;)

I called NX and talked to them about that setup. Since I already have the nozzle in the TB they said that would be much more effective instead of the Ntercooler. It is a sweet idea and I almost bought one.

I was under the impression that CO2 was not good for engines. I remember asking at LS1.com and they gave me some good reasons why you do not want CO2 in your engine. This was over a year ago so I don't remember the details. I have CO2 tanks up the wazoo and have a good buddy with a fill station at his house. I wanted to try this a years ago but was told not to. Anyone know why?

That is spraying onto the outside of the intercooler, the nitrous or co2 is not going into the engine.

And in a perfect world, you want nothing other than oxygen going into the car

It is a very good idea though...

Ok I get it. I thought it was spraying the air just before the air filter to cool the air before it went in.
