Hey dudes, dudettes, wondering if you could help us out.. Jana's car is missing on the high end, it rev's pretty good up to about 4700, then starts missing and won't shift if left in WOT. I changed the injectors to the L67's, and have upgraded the fuel pump to a Walbro 255lph intank version. We put a breather on the valve cover. If you drive it normal, it drives fine. If someone could look at a log file, here's a log up to about 70 mph and maxxing out at about 5000 rpms. It's in comma delimited file (.csv). Here it is: http://www.RobsHawk.com/Jana/Camaro/BlownV6/v61log.csv

    Thanks!!

Changed the injectors...... I did this once and 1 month later I grenaded my 1st 3.8 engine but mine was juiced.
I did not have the computer reprogrammed for the larger injectors.
I can't read that log of yours but adjusting for bigger injectors would be the first concern.

If it is missing, that is a sign that it needs a tune up. You should probably re-check the plugs.

If you are running L67 injectors with no tuning then that is probly your problem. That is a huge injector upgrade. I'm running LT1 24lb injectors and have the car leaned out a lot with the MAFT.

Why did you go with the L67 injectors? Was the car leaning out on the top end?

The timing and IPW's look fine on the log, can you get some O2 readings?

Also, I noticed some dryer hose on that intake. BAD idea, that stuff is real flimsy and will collapse under high rpms/boost. I actualy sucked the rubber elbow that comes with the kit into the blower. Might want to get some of that flexable tubing from Powerdyne, it's MUCH stronger.

Well, I changed the injectors, because the car has 170,xxx miles on it.. and figured they were prolly starting to get tired.. If ya think it would be better to put the stock ones in til a puter upgrade, then, so be it, I have a set of the stock ones that have 40,xxx miles on them.

Shirl.. That is something that I've thought very much about.. And plan to change the plugs tomorrow.

ON the intake, I planned on getting some Neoprene hose to use there.. But now we're gonna go FMIC with it, so I'm not sure if I want to spend the money on the good hose.

Thanks for all the help and tips.. I'll let ya know how it goes after the plug install.
