What is better on the engine a supercharger or a turbo, and do they even make a turbo that can make 15 lbs of boost that will fit 99+ 3.8? I want to do a project and see if i can get a turbo on but I don't know how hard it will be to get my pcm programmed right so i won't get really really bad gas mileage. If anyone has any thoughts on how to get started on this please post. This may take awhile since funds aren't available at the time.

do a search. this topic has been discussed numerous times in large discussions. You will have all your questions answered.
In short, no turbo system for your car, has to be custom, and you can get 15lb of boost out of a turbo, you just have to find one that compliments your engine the most by using a compressor map.99\' Black Camaro SS
M6/T-Tops - SLPLid w/K&N | Hurst Billet Plus w/ LSS | EGR Mod
Black 97\' Camaro T-Tops (RIP)

the turbo is the way to go. its more efficent. the turbo robs 5-10 hp as opposed to the super charger which takes 70-100hp to spool up. the turbo also alows higher boost.Turbocharged and intercooled.
17psi(oops), stock fuel pump, no FMU
http://www.cardomain.com/id/phoenix64
Video: ftp://ftp.pfabrication.com Assorted car ****: TurboCamaroFull.

You're right in a way and wrong in a way. Turbo's are more efficient and they have less parasistic loss to spool up, but supers don't take 100hp to run. Some of those big *** roots type blowers take hundreds of hp to run, but a small centrifugal SC at low boost will probably take around 50hp.---
-\'95 3.4L M5 Camaro
